It's been years since I owned the old AD&D books, and now I wish I still had 'em. Could someone be kind enough to tell me what the "title" was for the very highest level monk under those rules?

Grand Master of Flowers was the absolute highest level a Monk could obtain and only one Monk in the world could have that level.

Anyone who can look you in the eye and say "I am the Grand Master of Flowers" and be serious about it is not someone you want to mess with.
