D&D 5E 20th level Sorcerer vs the world

Overconfident One: I am Jubilex!
Target: I'll believe it when I see it.
Overconfident One: exposes his position and demonstrates his unmatched skill with Disguise Kit
Target: Nah, you aren't big enough to be Jubilex. Plus, he doesn't have arms or legs.
Overconfident One: I have an unbeatable Deception score! You must believe me!
Target: Your claim has to be plausible to Deception somebody.
Overconfident One: I'm Jubilex:
Actor feat, It's how works;
"A successful Wisdom (Insight) check contested by your Charisma (Deception) check allows a listener to determine that the effect is faked."

If the Bastion wins (It will), you bealive.

The target cannot respond telepathically. The Bastion is the only one who can speak. There is no dialogue, just a voice in your head.

"Your communication doesn't give the creature the ability to respond to you telepathically."

It's literally a voice in your head, with deception the bastion can mimic your speech.

Bastion casting Subtle Meteor Swarm. destroying everything without know who casted it. The Bastion is framing the Wizards.

The bastion uses telephatic, actor and deception checks on his mind.
"The Wizards must be defeated!" Mimic the creature's own voice.

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Jeremy Crawford (https ://twitter.com/jeremyecrawford/status/711981264740331521) explicitely states that allowing such a reading is DM fiat. (You sound like yourself when speaking via telepathy, although as DM, I allow attempts at telepathic deception.) So no, you can't without the DM-given leeway in interpreting the Actor feat do that. And that's another creature, not convince someone that the person he's speaking to is him.
AHhahahahah :ROFLMAO:

You >>>sound<<< like yourself when >>speaking<< via telepathy, although as DM, I allow attempts at telepathic deception. #DnD

If JC confirms what I said, who are you?
He just confirm with telephaty it's effectively is effectively speaking.
So, actor feat allows him to mimic the creature's speech. So, deception is rolled.
  • You can mimic the speech of another person or the sounds made by other creatures. You must have heard the person speaking, or heard the creature make the sound, for at least 1 minute. A successful Wisdom (Insight) check contested by your Charisma (Deception) check allows a listener to determine that the effect is faked.

The Bastion wins again.

You must have previously heard my voice to imitate how I sound. Otherwise I get somebody else's voice in my head.

BTW (and out-of-character), what are the modifiers that make up your unbeatable Deception check? Are any coming from limited-use sources (like "once per short rest you can...") that you assigned to another task previously? I do not have the Clockwork Sorcerer material so I cannot check your work; but I'm sure that if you Unbeatable Stealth to get into somebody's sanctum you will only have Typical Deception available for use in the subsequent conversation.

Pretty easy when you are hidden.

25~35 deception rolls.

It doesn't matter all that. Planar binding commands will be obeyed. The mentioned trick only makes Bastion even more manipulative and more reliable to manipulate any creature.

Being the hunt for bastion is really a death sentence.

"CHA 16, so that's +3. Potentially with advantage if you cast Enhance Ability beforehand. Not very convincing at all given the circumstances (you're not trying to convince someone that the voice is one of his friends, but his own voice. It's like convincing someone hearing his voice on TV that it's a live show."

I couldn't disagree more.

Trance of Order, Subtle Skill Empowerment, Magical Guidance, Advantage (help action).

With the number of skills you claimed your sorcerer to be able to cast Skill Empowerment on since the begining of this thread, you largely exceeded a credible number of skills to be proficient at.

The idea of using the help action to impersonate the inner voice of someone is also beyond ludicrous.

"He's still an illegal build. You claim to have too many spells, and now, with Actor, too many feats."

I strongly disagree
Which doesn't make you right.

The Clockwork has more spell known than Wizard's prepared spells and his feats are ok.

Yet you failed to provide a consistent spell list, changing it from day to day when called out that a spell wasn't on your spell list. Concerning feat, claiming to have Actor, +2 DEX ASI, Skill Expertise (Stealth), Resilient(WIS), Telepathic, Metamagic Adept. That's 6. One gets ASIs every 4 level so that's 5 over the whole carreer, not six. You can strongly disagree all you want and claim 6 is equal to 5.

Please, read the bastion before trying argue.

His feats.
Skill Expert (Stealth +1Wis), Resilient (+1 Wis), Telepathic (+1 CHA), +2 DEX, Actor (+1 Cha)

Another failure at understanding English. The fact that your feat doesn't give the recipient the ability to communicate telepathically doesn't mean that the already-telepathic targets you claim to be able to cast Planar Binding on can't answer you.

Telepathic feat:
"Your communication doesn't give the creature the ability to respond to you telepathically."

It's clear as water.

For a creature, its own voice appears inside its head saying something. That's all he knows.
