Cool - then I still beat feet to get outside. Knowing where the static shock came from ("the clump of bushes" if nothing more). AoE spell on the bushes just before I go through the barrier, to discourage pursuit. Of course I zigzag as soon as I am outside.

Good luck trying to chase me and stay hidden - Hiding takes an action, and yours is busy casting that long spell - at the same time. In fact, good luck carrying the material components (yes, plural) for Private Sanctum and having a hand free to handle any other spell's material components at the same time.

10 min = 100 rounds. Got a 100 SP stash as a Sorcerer8? Do explain how. You cannot rest while you are out ambushing people. If you run out of SPs part-way through, what do you stop doing so you can break down more spell slots?

You roll Stealth Check once vs Creature's passive perception. You remain hidden until revealed, you roll once and It doesn't use stealth action each turn.

Subtle Spell remove S,V from that spell. It's 10minute, 1 hour, 24 hours casting spell without V,S for only one SP.

Hostile action starts combat and combat begins with rolling initiative. What subtle spell are you casting here?
Hostile actions that you can see, you can't fight against something that you can't detect. The Bastion is undetected for you.
Is It hard to understand? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Subtle Polymorph. Subtle Dispel are spells without visual effect until the target failed.

Yes, he is a predator, hunting Wizards. Turning Wizards into Stone Chickens.
You don’t seem to understand DnD. Either your playing your Sorcerer, and then you will have to venture in weird place to achieve something. PC don’t wait for monsters to come to their lair. It is the opposite.
Or the Sorcerer is a mere monster, and other players will venture in its lair. And then you don’t have a word to say about how the Sorcerer defend itself.

I'm sorry, you are trying use Investigation vs Stealth check.
You probaly don't know the D&D basic skill checks. ^^ :ROFLMAO:

Okay, no. Just no. If you want to hide in the shadows for ten minutes subtly casting the private sanctum, that is one thing, but when you cast a spell on someone with hostile intent initiative is rolled. Whether they can meaningfully use their turn against your Emo Psycho Killer whom they haven't detected is one thing, whether they are surprised is another, but you are doing something that requires initiative. Against NPCs a DM might handwave that away, but a player is going to get their initiative roll.

If you found a DM who ruled it your way in a PvP context the other player would walk away from the table never to return and they would be right to do so. They would then post on an RPG horror story forum about how they had a horrible DM who let this one powergaming Sorcerer player walk all over them.
