Thoughts?

For myself, I expected more to come from the Nina assassination. It may turn out to be true that Sheri will bite it this season as well.

What's Tony's wife's name? I sure hope she survives the season -- without her the "rowr" factor on the show is reduced to only Kim now that Nina's dead.

Michelle. I hope she lives too.

Poor Gaille. Only one season, but you were cool. :(

Oh my god, Kim did work!

What I don't understand - as soon as Michelle and Gaille knew where the virus was, why oh why didn't one of them tell the hotel to SHUT OFF THE VENTILATION SYSTEM!!! They should have done that before they got there.

*sigh*

Oh, and I still can't bring myself to care about Sherri/Wayne/President Palmer.

24 is love-hate with me. I can't stand Kim. Never liked her or her mom. Shame on me, but I was rooting for Nina in the 1st season (dump the wife, Jack! Take Nina). Little did I know she was evil incarnate.

I have to agree with you on the Wayne/David/Sherrie thing... yawn.

Yeah, I actually though the same thing about the ventilation system -- Shut it DOWN!!!

My guess right now: Michelle survives, Gaille (clearly) doesn't.

Good episode.

I think I may be the only person who cares about the president, but only because I think that what we're seeing is the precursor to the end of the Palmer presidency. I really don't think he's going to be able to dodge the bullet on this one, especially with re-election time here.

Otherwise, I wasn't surprised that the virus was released. I'm fairly certain that they will get it contained and I have a feeling they will shut down the ventillation in time to save Michelle and the majority of the people in the hotel.

Why hasn't Chase been killed yet? You know that he's going to buy the farm by the end of the season and Kim's going to end up having to mother that child.

Too bad Gaille got a faceful of virus. I kinda liked the guy.

Good episode, though. Looks like Milikan's wife cracked under police interrogation. It wouldn't surprise me if this season ends with Sherry being arrested (or even getting killed, as someone else mentioned).

Oh, and the preview at the end of the show raised a question for me... why the sam hill aren't there going to be any new episodes until March 30?! That's over a month away! :(

Who knows why this place. Probably because it would be the most dramatic.

Unfortunately, more than likely everyone will be infected, even if they shut the fan off now. There will still be enough air movement through vents and such to spread the virus particles throughout the hotel. After all, even if Gaille calls as soon as we cut out, it'll still take some time for the fans to be shut down and then stop spinning (since it wouldn't be instantaneous). Right now it's entirely possible, if not probable, that everyone in the hotel will be infected.

At least, that's the stance CTU (and any emergency response team) will take.

Here's a thought that occurred to me as I was fixing my morning coffee. Sheri's modus operandi is -- clever schemer. What if she were to find a way to set up the President's brother to take the fall for the murder.

On the other hand, if Palmer wouldn't let his brother fall on his sword for something he actually did, there is no way he'll let him fry over something he didn't do.

Well, I for one agree that the Palmer story leaves a lot to be desired. I do however like the new character of the police detective.

I hope Michelle gets out of it, her peformance in last night's episode brought whole new depths to the character. I honestly don't know how she'll get out of this though, since it looks like everybody in that building is now totally screwed. As soon as she said "I want this day to be over", I suspected it would be her last.

And as for Chase, I posted long ago that by being involved with Kim is life expectancy has dropped to close to nil. As for the kid, I'm stilling betting that she'll feed it to the cougar.
