24 (Episode aired on 5/8) **Spoilers Welcome**

The man with the probe
Time to talk about it.

All I can say is I knew it about that weasle in Homeland Security. He was way too quick to follow questionable orders. :D

The Secretary of Defense is alive? Nice cheat there. Guess he found that "pocket of air" Henderson was taunting Audrey about. Way to go, James--you're sturdier than I would've thought.

Decent tension with the airplane landing on the freeway and Logan's will he/won't he "tie up loose ends" with the first lady bit. Oh, hey, Bierko's alive! I guess they're moving him so he can escape. Audrey's in CTU's medical facilities but, against all odds, lives.

I'm not thrilled with the Cell Phone Cabal and the frustrating tendency of the writers to pull yet another big baddie out at the late stages. (Was it S3 where it seemed like there was a new, bigger bad guy every ep?)

Overall, fairly meh from me. Time to wrap this one up.

so, the President is all set to kill himself, right up to the last 2 minutes... I knew something would happen to stop that... Miles... what a weasel. How much do you want to bet though, that Chloe backed up the tape so there will be another copy of it on her computer.....

Alas, I doubt that Chloe backed up the tape. But I think that the reason that Secretary Heller is still alive, is so that he can report on the content of the tape and save the day.

However, without the tape as rock-solid proof, I find it hard to believe that the president couldn't just bare-face his way through an accusation by the secretary of defense.

I'm glad to hear that Secretary Heller is still alive. He's one of my favorite characters. :)

Good episode this time. The last minute of the episode actually caused me to stand up and shout "FARK YOU, MILES!!!"*. Any show that can get a reaction like that out of you is definately intense. ;)

By the way, all you 24 fans will probably like this site: BauerCount, a complete listing of all the people that Jack has killed during the 5 seasons of 24, complete with descriptions of the killings and even video clips.

* Edited to be EN World-appropriate.

I'm okay with it, but if they were going to do the "appeared to be dead but really wasn't" cliche I would have preferred it to be either Michelle or Tony.

Michelle and Tony would be harder to explain.

I thought I saw something in Mile's hand when he came in with Cloe, but I would think she would have known if he swaped the players since it was pluged into some downloading device.

I gained a little more respect for the Prez in this episode, simply by how he acted all wishy washy with the plane issue. Apparently he realy is a very good actor. Doesn't mean I didn't want him to blow his brains out, but still.

My GF was calling him a coward for taking the suicide way out btw, I found that funny.

He did have something which I assume erased the memory on the player.

Miles looked like he was about to mess the front of his pants when the President told him that he'd remember his help. (I hope that's grandma appropriate?)

The sensible thing to do would be for Chloe to have created a backup (i've literally been shouting at the TV for weeks that they needed to back up that stupid recording) but I really doubt she did, because it would mess up the plot twist.
