3.5 – Sentinels of Evermere [FULL]

:)

About the Spiked Chain, I just thought it might be difficult to handle inside a forest (the trees getting in the way of the chain), not that it is "untraditional" or something! ;)

That, or fellow adventurers! :D

You are right, of course, and this could very well happen. And it surely crossed my mind before.

But as I got the inspiration for a PC from an image I had in my mind of someone wearing a spiked chain hanging slung around his shoulder [probably from the "How do you carry a ..." thread in GD] I wanted to stay true to that, even if the choice might prove to be somewhat suboptimal under the circumstances.

Still, there two points in his favour. First, he does carry a back-up weapon, and second, as we all know from the various Robin Hood movies and series there's always space for extended sword-play, so even a guy with a spiked chain can hope for the best. ;)

Whatever the case, I think the character sounds cool, and I"m really looking forward to describing the results of your use of that spiked chain in the narrative.

.. and if the occassional tree gets in the way .. well ... they had it coming.

;)

Thanks for the character info Folkert!

I didnt run across any problems, but please go ahead and double-check your character sheet on the site.

The one potential issue I saw fof future reference is that you are right at the limit for a light load. Even without counting clothing you are at 58 pounds, and if you pick up a pinecone you're gonna be knocked down to 20' of movement ;)

Thank you to everyone for their characters. I will get the sheets updated--probably this evening.

We are waiting on a character from Garyh, and then I need to get a back-up in place for our 5th player (I have written emails to the back-ups but haven't got a response).

I'm going to set a deadline of end-of-day tommorow for characters. We will then get the official thread rolling on Wednesday or Thursday.
Mackinson I did not see an email form you, but it may not have my current one, did you need to make a character?

Hi, Tokiwong. Inez was the 1st back-up in-line, but if he doesn't claim the spot pretty soon than it is certainly yours.

You actually made one thing right, I did wrong (initiative), but it's corrected in this thread now, too.

Good. thanks.

Damage for the Quarterstaff is 1d6+3 because of two-handed bonus (1.5x STR)..

Yep. Good point. Thanks.

Experience Points should be 1000 or somewhere between 1000 and 3000, since we are 2nd level! :)

Good catch again.

Eshe'ri's deity would be "druidic" (or however this should be called). She doesn't pray to any specific god and rather follows that nature-spiritual approach you mentioned in the background descriptions.

Sounds good. We will just keep the vague term "druidic" for now.

Some costs are missing...
Thanks for the cost info. I've updated the character sheet, though really the only purpose is so that you know the value of your gear. I was just trusting you guys to spend your 250gp.

Shouldn't the money also count for equipped weight?

I believe it is .2 pounds

I don't quite get the point of the Feat Notes area! :)
Why not write that (=Conjuration) in the above list directly?

That's just a function of the program I am using to build characters and track combat and such. This is an auto-generated character sheet.

Thanks for everything, and hopefully we'll be starting soon.

Ok.

Yes my 9 coins figured in at .18 lb. but I wondered why they are the only weight not figured into the equipped weight, while everything else is! :) No biggie! :D

Hehe, yep, and it's surely a nasty weapon! :)
