[3.5] - Nightmares of a Sleeping God

Right WD I also won't call it bad I just think some of the stuff is "odd" and doesn't mix well with normal classes.

If we can find someone to play a rogue of some sort I'll play a fighter. I want to try my crossbow specialist I think or better yet my sword breaking berserker I haven't got to play yet.

Oh I know my tough guy yeah a dwarven barbarian with a 20 CON and Toughness. So he can be lvl 1 and have 20HP.

Hmm to much to choose from but I will be a martial type just not sure what.

Heh, I love me some 3.5! And level 1 games are low maintenance so I could join. I must warn you that sometimes i go MIA for several days. i always come back though. I'd play a Druid, Cleric or Archivist. Or a Factotum if you need a skillmonkey/trapfinder etc. but I'd want to take Font of Inspiration as many times as i can.

Ok I'll ask what is Font of Inspiration?

And you know what I would love to "play" in a game along side ML ;)

Oooooooooooooooooh. I could play a Psion! Do any disciplines get perform - I doubt it, hmmm Able Learner perhaps? Archivist rocks hard, and has very little chance of being overpowered given a sensible DM who does not allow the archivist to get scrolls of any domain spell they wish at the drop of a hat. Factotums

I have the same trouble with Incarnum and Psionics - not that they are overpowered, no. Their fluff is great. But it's simply two books and two different sets of rules for me to learn on top of all the regular 3.5 stuff I know, and ToB as well.

HM: Roleplay instead of Roll Play right? :p Font of Inspiration is a Factotum feat, it allows the Factotum to do more of his weseome "jack of all trades" stuff. It's like extra spell slots (sort of), so you take it as many times as your DM allows it.

Archivist: well... Yes with DM supervision it can be toned down but it's still one of the best classes around. And the "seeker of forgotten knowledge and dark secrets" is just so well fitting for this story. That's the thing I wanted to ask, how self sufficient do we have to be? Will we be able to spend gold on learning spells/getting consumables/buying items?

What WBL do you intend to keep? Also regarding Cleric, what is your take on Divine Metamagic?

Is any of this directed at me? I got a little lost on your train of thought there, heh.

Incarnum still allowed? Would you allow the lesser aasimar race from the forgotten realms player's guide?

I'm willing to give Incarnum a try and see how it plays. As for Lesser Aasimar, I don't see it what book/page is it specifically so I can dig it up?

Already posted the book. It's in the appendix. Basically the same as the MM one, but humanoid instead of outsider (can still be affected by some magics that can only target outsiders). I believe it's up at crystalkeep, too.
