3.5e Planescape - Cold Black Mask OOC Thread

One note: since you need cover or concealment to hide and cover is reciprocal in melee combat, that guy will have cover from you if you want a chance to hide afterwards (since you used up your move action to get there).

Thanks for keeping tabs on the mechanics for me, Nac Mac Feegle. :)

I was in the process of getting the next round up, but work just begged me to come in for a double-shift. I'll get that post up as soon as get back.

I'm going to be busy for the next couple of days (as I'm sure you all are, as well), so posting will be pretty sporadic.

Also, as a general guideline, let's keep the OOC discussion in this thread, to prevent sidetracking in the IC thread. NacMacFeegle, I thought force effects ignored DR, but for some reason I wasn't able to fint it in cold hard print so I chalked it up to pre-holiday deliriousness. :p I'll adjust the Reave's VP/WP.

Ambrus, I'll make a DM-call and say that even if you can't actually pick up two of the Reave's maces (he had four total), you can probably drag them into hiding. Hope he doesn't see you. :]

DireLemming, I'll try to move the conversation along sometime today somewhere between everything that's going on in real life. ;)

Force effects don't explicitly ignore DR - but spells do. By rules as written, any damage that is sourced from a spell ignores DR, even slashing/piercing/bludgeoning damage. Most DMs, myself included, take the reasonable interpretation that spells that deal "physical" damage (S/P/B) only ignore appropriate DRs, but the rules do say that spells ignore damage reduction.

Ah. I'd misunderstood and believed the reeve was wielding two heavy maces rather than four light maces. It is DM's call though so I'll go with whatever you decide.

Hope everyone has a nice Christmas! :)

Happy Chirstmas to everyone who celebrates it, and happy late December / early January to those who don't. ;) I'll be fairly occupied by family and friends during the daytime, but I'll be able to post at least once every evening. See ya then!

The fam and I took a spontaneous wilderness trip north -- but barring a carjacking by a black bear or puma, I should be able to get things moving again tonight. :)

I haven't disappeared; winter storms knocked out our power for the past few days. I'll get things running again after I get back from a couple of meetings today.
