Fair enough. I don't mind minor changes in the setting (and as you pointed out, there's a basis for it in this case) as long as it's an informed decision, that there's some thought put into it and that's it remains consistent throughout the campaign.Cage-Rattler said:Ambrus:[sblock] In this case, I was using a sidebar in In the Cage as a reference. I figured their ability would put them in some sort of limbo between the Astral and the City. This particular reave will have to "re-phase" somewhere else in Sigil within the next six rounds.[/sblock]
Actually, I have to admit that I've been quite impressed with Sindr's spell-usage. Causing the reave to drop all four of its weapons with one spell was teh awesome! And blinding him was just added frosting.Zurai said:Verily, this game is awesome. It has to be, it has Sindr in itDon't you know that capital-C-Chaotic tieflings make any game awesome?

I'll second that. I'll even go on to say that I'm impressed with the few extra metagame touches he's included. For instance, I found CG's summary of the NPCs' morale each round at the bottom of each of his posts very helpful. Knowing how wounded and confident an enemy seems helps give us the players an impression of how well we're doing in the combat. Helps avoid TPKs due to false impressions. Kudos.Zurai said:Cage-Rattler definitely has the "feel" of Sigil down pat for me and I find myself checking for updates way too frequently![]()
Unfortunately, I'm afraid you've been misreading the section on Readied Actions. "The [readied] action occurs just before the action that triggers it. If the triggered action is part of another character’s activities, you interrupt the other character." Emphasis mine.Cage-Rattler said:Ambrus: As I understood it, the "Fade" sbility caused it to become semi-corporeal from the moment it was triggered.
