3.5e Planescape - Cold Black Mask OOC Thread

I still think Ambrus should be playing a robot. Istvan's great though! However, he's also making me dislike 4E even more. Man, he should teach that evil cartoon Tiefling dog mother some respect.

Hey CR, did you take my buy off into account as well?

Ambrus:[sblock]Sorry; EnWorld's been slow to load recently. Actually, my point of contention wasn't with Readied Actions, but with Supernatural Abilities; I couldn't recall if activating them counted as Free or Standard Actions, and I couldn't find any reference in the DMG. I just assumed they were Free.
It wasn't until late last night that I checked the PHB on a hunch, and found out that they are Standard Actions. So, yes, Istvan would have attacked just before the Reave began "fading"and, let's see- -- hit AC 25, doing 7 VP damage before DR. Enough to bang it around a bit, but not enough to interrupt it.

Sorry about the misruling; be sure to keep me honest in the future, as well! :) [/sblock]

Excellent. The illusion is complete. I mean... :uhoh:

DireLemming:[sblock]What I meant to say was, "835 XP for you, sir." ;) [/sblock]

We haven't heard back from Scurry yet, so I'll open up recruitment for one more person to the general public at around midday today. In the meantime, I'll keep the IC thread active, too.

Whether it were a free or standard action wouldn't matter; a readied action always occurs before the action that triggers it. It wouldn't matter if it were a free, move, standard, swift or immediate action; a readied action trumps them all.[/sblock]Thanks for your patience Cage-Rattler. BTW, István didn't happen to catch sight of a glowing four-armed dude stumbling blindly around the neighborhood when he ran across the Slumbering Lamb's rooftop did he? You never know... ;)

Scurry:, did you have a new character concept you wanted to try out, or were you thinking of adding to your idea of a warlock character?

I'd like to stick with the warlock, if you don't mind. (I've yet to play one, they look like fun, and entanglement with abyssal politics looks veeery interesting in light of events that have transpired.)

Sounds good, Scurry; I'll take a look back to the beginning of the thread to refresh my memory. :)

I should have an IC update for you all this morning; I've been busy writing one near-final report for my volunteer work, but it's just about done. (Yay.)

Shayuri: We might be able to squeeze you in. :) Happen to have a acharacter concept in mind?

Scurry: After reading through the game so far, do you have any preference as to how to start off?

Hee!

Well! Lemme check the roster and see where a good niche is...

But if it's a squeeze, don't worry about it. I can wait for another Planescape game if need be. The other ones I've joined fell apart, sadly.
