so why won't those work?

Berandor: Sorry, I meant low-area of effect, not low level. Had to rush to work... Dimensional lock (I believe) is only 15' radius, and teleport redirect is only 20'. Teleport Block isn't bad, but the 4th level Zone of Respite is even better.
Reapersaurus: I downloaded the parodies, and although they were quite funny, I fail to see the resemblance to my game. In fact, I've never once mentioned any situations in my campaign that would have been "uncanny" to the second one. Reaper, I think you may be taking a lot of stuff for granted, or just trying for some more insults.
Clockworkjoe: Anti-magic shell only has a personal range, so I can't center it around them. Mordenkainen's Disjunction is 9th level, and there are no wizards nearby that could make a scroll of it. 8th is her max. I should have stated that earlier, sorry.
Cloudgatherer: It doesn't have to be necromantic. Thanks for the idea. Actually, Nuala has the ability to mke duplicates of people. The duplicates only last a month, at which time the original and the duplicate both die, but during that time they're fanatically loyal to her. I've been thinking of what sort of "henchmen" to get her. High level stuff will be a bit too much, as she doesn't have a lot of time to set up more elaborate traps, but a 8th-10th level guy or two wouldn't be too unthinkable.
