28. The Courtesan (AKA Don Juan). Not much of an adventurer, except when it helps him/her to get the ladies/gentlemen. High Charisma.

Skills: Bluff, Diplomacy, Gather Info, Innuendo, Listen, Open Lock, Sleight of Hand

Feats: Negotiator, Persuasive, Nimble Fingers

29- The Con Artist: The guy who heads up the fly-by-night phony magic item shop down the street, or who tricks you into trading your own powerful items for crap. Or the Nigerian businessman who convinces you to send him your bank and credit card information so he can transfer the millions of dollars that his government is trying to steal into your account.

Skills: Alchemy (for counterfeiting and reproducing magical effects), Appraise, Bluff, Craft, Diplomacy, Forgery, Pick Pocket, Proffession (Salesman), Sense Motive, Use Magic Device.

#30 - The gambler. A professional card player who turns any game of chance into a contest of skill
Skills: Appraise, Bluff, Diplomacy, Profession (Gambler), Sleight of Hand, Sense Motive & Spot
Feats: Skill foci in Bluff and Sense Motive

#31 - The Political Agitator. A member of a secret movement out to overthrow the government.
Skills: Diplomacy, Gather Information, Hide, Knowledge (Nobility/Government), Listen, Move Silently, Sense Motive, Spot & Survival
Feats: Anything that improves ability to sway public opinion or to stay hidden/alive

32: The Spy (Action hero variant)
Examples: James Bond, Arnold Swartzeneager's character in True Lies

Major Skills: Bluff, Diplomacy, Disable Device, Listen, Search, Spot, Sense Motive, Tumble
Minor Skills: Escape Artist, Gather Information, Hide, Move Silently
Feats: Improved Initiative, Iron Will, Weapon Focus/Finesse, Luck of Heroes, Persuasive, Quickdraw

This variety of spy rarely disguises himself--he just dresses appropriately and bluffs his way into places. If he needs forged documents or gadgets, someone else makes them. But when it comes to lying, seduction, blowing things up, or disarming nuclear bombs with seconds left on the timer, he has no equal.

Before you ask, Forgery is opposed by Forgery, so this doctor could spot Fake Prescriptions and Recipes :)

Magician - Not born to magic, can't learn magic, so he fakes it, and uses magic items to cover up his lack of magic
Skills - Bluff, Craft(alchemy), escape artist, hide, knowledge(arcana), perform(act), sleight of hand, spellcraft, use magic device
Feats - Combat reflexes, deft hands, magical aptitude, skill focus(use magic device)
SPECIAL: Redhead if in Ravenloft

This mirrors an idea for a prestige class I've been mulling over for my campaign almost exactly (anyone remember Maasha from the M.Y.T.H. books?).

I humbly offer said prestige class's name:

Montebank

For anyone who has seen and enjoyed Pulp Fiction: Maybe number 20 should be renamed "The Wolf"

No, it was done first (and possibly better) in "La Femme Nikita," and the character, Victor, was called The Cleaner.

Interestingly enough, when "La Femme Nikita" was remade by Hollywood as "Point of No Return" (also before "Pulp Fiction"), the actor who played Victor The Cleaner was the same one who played The Wolf in "Pulp Fiction" -- Harvey Keitel.
