Hey folks.

Sorry i haven't posted. Been mad busy, and then just idea-tossing with sparky and been remiss about joining the group.

Rori's sheet is almost done. Posted tonight.

I'm still here, just haven't had a chance to get my mythic PC together. Lots more going on at work and starting up my L4W game has taken a chunk of time. Should be able to get Freedom together this weekend. Sorry for the delay.

Okay, everyone's accounted for. Atan, nerdytenor, Redclaw, Shayuri, Tallarn get your 1st level PCs together and post, re-post, link or re-link them into this thread.

Eoghah, garyh and Steve, get your Mythic PCs together as soon as possible and follow them with your 1st level PCs. Mythic first though, and post into this thread.

For folks making their 1st level PCs... I'm currently considering starting all PCs in an underground dwarven city. The Feywild is severed from the world and has been for centuries (a defensive move by Eladrin centuries ago to protect themselves from the coming Age of Darkness). I know Belleros' background specifically mentions leaving the Feywild and Krik's mentions being from the forest, we'll need to work out what to do with these guys.

I have several ideas on how to work this out that feather pretty well into what I'm thinking about, but I'd like to hear from you lot - specifically those of you with backgrounds that conflict here.

Well, how about this: it is impossible to acces the Feywild "normally", but it's possible to get out of it -though generally prohibited. Belleros would have made a dramatic escape in this case.

That's a good idea, travel is not impossible but difficult and illegal. Basically High Treason (because the barriers are in place for a reason).

What would drive him to risk that?
It could be that he was put out or banished... that could work if his tarnished family name got him into trouble... or maybe there's some requirement in the enchantments that requires Arkeion (sp?) blood or one OF Arkeion blood to go through the portal enchantments to keep them strong (because the enchantments were constructed BY Trasimakos or on theories that he created).

Well... about the reasons, Belleros is, and maybe it wasn't very clear in the concept, a miscievous brat. He's like a 15-16 years old human, he's powerful, and not very wise. He wants glory and great battles and journeys and adventures, ad he can't have all that in the Feywild, because the Eladrin have put a lot of prohibitions (like, not being able to leave) and because the Arkeion family is still shunned. So he ran, secretly from everyone.

Yes, it's a simple character concept. The character is very youn, very naive, in a sense, very pure. The idea is, one day he will have to face the truth of his heritage, which is, supposedly, something very heavy. That's why I decided to make him very, very light and easy-going in the beginning.

What if he was -summoned-?

Some magical ritual...plucks him from the feywild more or less against his will...

You mean Belleros?
Nah, he definitely wanted to wander into the mortal world.
Anyway I appreciate your suggestion Shayuri, I think it's actually a very cool kicker, only, I don't feel it's very fitting to this character...

Actually I think this fits in with Krik rather well. This dwarven city could be the first bit of civilization Krik comes upon when he makes the journey out of his homeland.

I didn't explain the city enough - at the start of the campaign the dwarven city hasn't had contact with the outside world in centuries.

If Krik is a part of it (he doesn't have to be) his 'forest' background would need some tweaking. The world outside is REALLY bad. REALLY. We'll need to work out how the Dragh are surviving outside (I've ideas for that) or have something like an underground wilderness that his people can roam (a series of natural caverns they range).
