[4e] GM wanted: Paragon tier adventure?

[sblock=build thoughts]Cold Focus: the point of Lasting Frost/Wintertouched (which I was going to go for when I have the feats) is to get CA all the time. As such, you want at least one cold-based At-will power to spam it with.

Sorcerers... well, I don't know if there's a frost dagger the way there's a flaming dagger. As a property I think you can make your damage cold damage, so that should be fine. Good implement, that.

Frost weapon is in the PHB
PHB said:
Power (At-Will ; Cold): Free Action. All damage dealt by this weapon is cold damage. Another free action returns the damage to normal.

Now, the question would be; does the weapon deal damage, if used as an implement? I believe somewhere it was said the wintertouched/lasting frost combination worked for melee but not spellcasters, since the implement is not actually dealing the damage. Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but that's what I've heard.

Check out arcane power, if you use that and PHB2, there is a cold power for every single level you gain powers. Your sorcerer will work out!

Rofl, Cabana, I literally have no money. My wallet is empty. I don't have Arcane Power or the Character builder.

So, the only ways I could access Arcane Power aren't kosher, which I want to avoid.

Now, if someone wanted to point me towards cold powers, or a way to MAKE my powers cold powers, then... that'd be keen. (Something like the Frost weapon for spells would be awesome.)

I'm also asking for some advice in the 4E section

See Oni's cold sorceror. Seems like there's a PP called Blizzard Mage, not sure what book it's in though.

Rod of the Dragonborn
When you use a power with this implement, the damage you deal with the power is of the same damage type as the damage dealt by your dragon breath.

Hm... Seems like this would do just about exactly what I want. Can anyone tell me more about this?

What? I made my wizard a weaver and there's a blizzard wizard PP? Damn. It will be nice to have a sorceror counterpart who shares my wizard's frosty point of view.

Dibs on the Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment!

There are some good items, but one needs me to have elves or eladrin nearby.

Ok, so we've got a Cleric/Mage (divine Oracle; dare I say it mystic theurge?); an Eladrin Swordmage; a frosty Dragonborn.

is that about right?
