I should NOT have tried to run two new campaigns at once.

I have such good ideas and really want to run it, but ultimately I'm not sure this is working and unfortunately, this is where the effort is. I am declaring a pause. It's 1-2 weeks I will announce what the final deal is.

I really do have a plan for Gramps to escape if it's just a question of you hoping the PC's would take the initiative.

There are RL personal issues eating into my time. This is magnifying the other problems.

The fundamental gaming problem is I do not have the prep time available to start the campaign as I've set it up.

Basically, I've painted myself into a set of hard corners.

1) I split the party.
2) I threw an NPC in too close proximity as a way to railroad the plot. The agenda I had written for him is hard for me to pull off.

I am open to suggestions, but I've thought a lot about this. Here is my proposal:

• The IC Thread is rebooted.
• The party are ALL Eladrin prisoners.
• I need 1 week for prepwork.

From this point I think I can pull it off.

I'm good with all those.

For planning's sake, Grandfather's plan for escape was to try his Skittering Sneak wildshape power to assume the form of an animal that can fit through the bars of his cell. Then he'd be free to engage the lone guard, take the key and free the others.

Mind you, he has no ideas if there are countermeasures against that sort of tomfoolry...that's just what he means to try.

Uhm, if you mean prisoners of the eladrin, I'm fine.

If not and you mean 'player race = eladrin', I need another character. Eladrin make poor warlocks IMHO.
