For now if we go kobold route, I'm in
I think Merrick will stay with the bluff group in the end. It makes no sense to have 4 or 5 go one way and only 3 go the other way. And having all ranged with no melee buffer is a bad idea. Although, I suppose the goal of the bluff group is to avoid fights.

Okay, I am so confused right now. I had to deal with a few things, and despite desperately trying to catch up, I still have absolutely no idea what the plan is. I thought we had a plan when we left, but now ... maybe not?

In the IC yesterday, I made a brief reminder that Shamal found a key on the driver. I assume it might be used at the watchtower? But maybe not? Any ideas? Did I miss something?

Also, not even sure about what the groups are. Maybe we should just all stick together at this point? Screw the kobolds. Let's bluff our way in, and when it fails (because, c'mon, it's gonna fail*) we fight.



*Not that it's a bad thing. Failure is fun!

I replied to the key IC. It opened a chest on the cart that had 60gp in it

It comes down to Copper. Urban can find traps. If you find them, you can bypass them without disabling them. Copper can get us into rooms we might now have access to without needing us to bash things down and make a ruckus.

My vote is Team Gate

Lorent (bluff ranged)
Terrin (healing melee)
Copper (ranged sneaky)
Merrick (melee tank)

Caves
Shamal (melee persuasion, healing)
Torhak (ranged sneaky)
Urgan (ranged spells, investigation)
Corrah (?)

If shamal wants to trade with Merrick, fine.

We decided to all go to tower in case we couldn’t get by or in case we want to take out the tower. We got by fine and no one seems interested in attacking the tower(unless of course they see team kobold sneaking away and we have to fight)

The actual bluffing will happen at the gate though, and then it’s too late to split.

Once again, 3 teams makes it easier to find more statues quicker and we might be able to make allies of the kobolds. Bring food.
 

I am fine with the above groups if their players are. Corrah will show the group to the Caves (though it's easy now - go counter-clockwise around Blackpeak until you get there. I'm not sure if she'll go in. Her only problem with these grouping is that both her closest "friends" (I mean, she all just met everyone, but there was a bit of a bond formed) are leaving her for the gates, but that's fine.
