+5 Adamantine Armor Spikes of Defending

[houserule]
IMC, a Defending weapon only applies its AC bonus against a person whom you attack with it that round. If you attack with another weapon, or not at all, the defender grants you no AC bonus. If you take three iterative attacks on one enemy, you get the normal bonus on him. If you take some iterative attacks with a different weapon, and then an off-hand attack with the defender, you get the bonus only against the target of the off-hand attack. When your next turn starts, any or all AC bonuses go away, until you attack with the Defender again.

This rule is specifically designed to eliminate the questions about armor spikes, sheathed weapons, and the full-defense action. I justify it by saying that the defending weapon moves on its own to parry and block attacks.

Ok. To hopefully help some people understand, heres my simplified version of how Defending weapons work:

Defending weapons are EXACTLY like Expertise, only they use the weapons +'s instead of the players BAB. All restrictions and requirements of Expertise apply equally to Defending weapons.
