We started running ToEE before Xmas, one of the group members showed me their copy of Advanced Dark and Deep from BRW games, which is a tweaked AD&D1e.
That brought back the nostalgia of THAC0, and had a couple of runs. Though more familiar with 2e, a lot more straight forward than 5e complexity in terms of mechanics and 'canned' adventures.
