Color, meh.

Might confuse fewer leaving out the +1 in the 20 +1, or making it 19+1=20, or making it 20 (+1). ::::: It at least breaks the monotony of just changing numbers to discuss it once every other day the way it is.

You're correct. I'd taken the numbers before the +/- to be the previously existing state, with the numbers after that which ought be applied to them something like "Helm 16 (-2)" seems like it is more common way of denoting '16, a 2 point difference from previously' than "Helm 16 -2" does.
