What’s her deal?

Forests, rangers and Druids, and in the C Team game, lesbians. She has another goddess that is her lover and counterpart (spring and winter) named Maelith, and it’s a whole thing. They’re the patrons of the Enclave Panax Anima (EPA) which is an all female Druidic cult that claims to stretch back to a time when all of Faerun was forest. It’s cool stuff.

And, like much of the Forgotten Realms pantheon, she was straight up stolen from real world mythology. That's why her name is so different compared to, you know, "Bane", "Talos", "Shar", and some of the other more simple FR pantheon's deity names.

Helm 18 Of the 3 main deities of justice in this pantheon, Helm is definitely my least favorite. He also murdered Mystra one time, which he definitely need punishment for, not because of his actions, but because he was used by the writers to kill Mystra AGAIN!
