D&D 5E 5E Survivor - Subclasses (Part IV: Clerics)

So far every single Survivor has been in DDB's Top 3.

That is hardly surprising though.

I can't talk about Artificer, since I despise the class and never will allow it in any game I play in or run.
Totem Barbarian -- resistance to all damage except psychic while raging? No brainer there.
Lore Bard -- more skills and more metamagic (and SOONER). No brainer again.

I was team tempest from start to the final vote. I just see it as a subclass whose mechanics are flavorful, work well in play, and allows for a variety of builds. It can be frontline, in back, or somewhere in the middle. It can blast, support, or tank with emphasis on whichever you prefer. The aesthetic is top notch. Perhaps I'm biased but I've thought it was one of the best subclass designs to come out of the PHB.

The Tempest Domain is my favourite because it is, IMO, the best Melee front line cleric and is also a good blaster. It makes for an effective cleric that suits a variety of play styles. I had great fun playing one in Dragon Heist. I was one of our frontliners but blasting when needed. A maximum damage shatter is pretty effective in tier 1 play.
