People didn't have to vote against the Circle of Stars.cannot believe the two most boring subclasses are the ones left smh
Circle of Stars should have another 8 upvotes for the days I was away.People didn't have to vote against the Circle of Stars.
And Moon! For the Vengeance of the Circle of Stars!
Sorry, but I am glad to see them both out. I see them as too focused and not representative of "Druid" in general.Really sad to see Stars get dogpiled right at the end. I was sincerely hoping it would win if Wildfire didn't.
I don't know, it lasted a LONG time. But of course I'm guessing a lot of people feel that way when their preference was voted out.Stars was seen as the threat to their favorite. Strategic voting often means that some of the best and brightest candidates are snuffed out early.
Its what you're left with when people target the best one.cannot believe the two most boring subclasses are the ones left smh
SO TRUE! LOL.I guess boring beats boring AND annoying.
Well, I can only speak for myself, but yes, yes I did.People didn't have to vote against the Circle of Stars.
Sure, I felt the same way when Knowledge domain was edged out by Tempest. I didn't join until half way through and if I had, Knowledge would have won. Lesson: vote early as well as often.Circle of Stars should have another 8 upvotes for the days I was away.
They didn't, they could have voted against the boring ones (Land and Shepherd). It is like saying people didn't have to vote against Twilight, Spores, Primeval, or any of the others.
We can’t, we aren’t at the wizard thread yet. So I’m trying to down the closest thing. They didn't, they could have voted against the boring ones (Land and Shepherd).
Congratulations to the Circle of the Land,
Woopsie daisy! Sorry, I hadn't had my coffee yet.I think you mean Shepherd?
Probably wishful thinking.I think you mean Shepherd?
Nope, just half-asleep. I honestly expected Shepherd to win once Stars got eliminated. (I've seen enough of these to know what happens when two underdogs split against a leader.)Probably wishful thinking.
DM: "What are you guys playing?"
Player 1: "I'm going to be an Conjurer!"
Player 2: "I'm going to be a Battle Master!"
Player 3: "I'm going to be a Paladin of Vengeance!"
Player 4: "I'm going to be a Shepherd. Baaaaa!"
I 100% agree with you on the annoying/slowing down the game part.It wouldn't be Sheperd. It's cliched and annoying at the same time. Summons slow down combat and are ineffective for anything apart from getting in the way.
If the DM lets the PC pick what they summon, it's TOO goodI 100% agree with you on the annoying/slowing down the game part.
however I can't believe what you are saying about ineffective. I ran a module with a PC with a Shepherd, it was very effective.
I really like the Spirit thing, especially the Bear for the Temp HP, and the free 'talk to animal' effect.Shepard is alright.
It's similar to the Shaman from 4E.
