Damsel.

Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean her distress is genuine, but as it's been said the old "AHA! I'm not really a damsel!" bit has been done to death.

Or maybe the Damsel is INSIDE the Succubus Dragon Vampire. You know, reminiscient of the old days where treasure was found inside the stomachs of creatures.

You mean like the Beholder that had a longsword, ten moss agates, and a rhodochrosite on its person?

I voted Succubus (of course), but you left off the most horrific creature she could be... a Spoiled Princess!
A pregnant ex-girlfriend.
In her trousseau.
And her guard captain father.
With a loaded crossbow.

Dragon shapechanged into damsel, damsel baleful polymorphed into dragon. Priceless.

I once had a party guarding a churchyard burial site on an island. There were two bridges. One party member on the tomb, one lurking about, one on each bridge. They were trying to protect the tomb from a teenage girl witch (the adventure was the first one in the witchfire trilogy). So a teenage girl comes running across the bridge toward the party paladin screaming as a group of shambling undead chase her. The paladin doesn't even detect evil, just steps aside and lets her pass, taking a stance to guard her against undead. Gets a magic missile in the back and more undead coming up out of the water on his side of the bridge. Great moment.
