A Feat for an Additional At-Will?

How balanced would be a feat that grants you an additional 1st-level at-will ability from your primary class? (Let's leave multiclassed characters out of this for now). What's the most broken thing that you could do if this feat was allowed?

I don't think it would cause any problems. You can only use one per turn anyway. It just gives you one more option after your encounters and dailies are out. The higher level you get, the less useful at-will powers become.

The most obvious is allow you to keep the 2 most useful of your AW abilities from your class and ditch the feat one to multiclassing

I agree with this - though this may actually make MC work better!

So I guess it would be more balanced as a Paragon tier feat instead of a Heroic tier feat?

Alternatively, the Heroic tier version could give you an additional at-will ability from your class as an encounter ability.

I think it would be balanced if it imposed a -2 penalty to the attack.

it would step on the most important Human racial power taking away a big reason to be human (IMO at least)

I agree.

I think the paragon tier is closer to balanced, but the another at will 1/encounter probably steps on the human's racial ability the least.
