[The Forsaken One]

I'll be running one shots from now on and among them will be mercenary games. Single missions, averaging between very hard and very easy. After the mission I'll re-recruit for a new game or maybe launch another merc game. It depends.

I'd like as much people as possible to put in a character, their own mercenary. From them I'll pick for the next mission. If you don't feel like playing right now, just go ahead and please put a character in for yourself but just put in the post subject that you are unavailable or allready assigned to another job!

But please I'd like to have as many Merc listed here as possible! So everyone who reads this and has a few mins, put a char in!

Rules for creation are as follows:

Write up a short submission for your mercenary. His or her personality, age, history, former employments maybe? Social status and very important, YOUR SKILLS and where you EXELL IN, what are your specialities in the trait of work you do. The more info the better.

All Mercenaries have two things in which they specialise. You make up which things that might be. They can be things like:

Rooftop sniping
Stealthy
Night Ops
Training new people
Automatic weapons
Explosives
Bluffing
Combat Medic
Ect ect. anything you can make up.

You can choose two different things in which you exell but if you just pick one thing ( you put both choises in one thing) you are considered an expert in it. The effect of these speciality choises are on a ruling level.

This along with stuff they specialise in will make your character. It will work as follows. You make posts and what you are gonna do in next post and I'll rule on it. Very simple, no rules. You can try anything.

Frederick Harding (aka 'Rabid')

Frederick served 1 year with the Australian Army, 2 years with the Australian SAS followed by two five year contracts with the French Foreign Legion. While in the SAS he served with a counter-terrorist unit.

Upon joining the Foreign Legion he was given the option of changing his name, which he took, his life before the military he doesn't share. During his time in the Foreign Legion he spent a lot of time in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and occasionally spots in Africa. He learnt French as default upon joining the Foreign Legion but learnt German and Russian in his spare time for when he was in Eastern Europe. After four years he earnt his way into the elite 2nd Airborne Unit (high altitude paratroopers), six years later he was honourably discharged.

The kind of operations he was involved in were extended operations behind enemy lines (sabotage, guerilla warfare), and counter terrorist operations (assault, bomb defusal).

His rifle of choice would be the G36, any model. He has a preferance of Heckler and Koch weapons.

He earnt the nick-name (and call-sign) 'Rabid' during an operation in the Middle East. He was going to the toilet in some scrub land when a wild boar interupted him. In the aftermath of the encounter he required fifty-two stiches and was useless for the rest of the operation, the boar on the other hand required burial due to the combat knife that interupted its thought paterns.

In his life thus far, Nathan has accumulated significant wealth from his two most famous projects (as late night talk show host Crom O'Leary and financial motivational speaker Todd Saunders) by making people believe that he knew what he was doing. Nathan was instrumental in the Holiday Inn Express commercials who copied off of his many exploits.

The CIA engaged his services in exchange for immunity on his prior exploits. He received intensive military training and carried off the mission without a hitch, disappearring afterward.

Rumor has it that he is available for hire on the mercenary front, having enjoyed the adrenal rush of his prior mission.

Abe was born and raised in the city of Chicago, Illinois, he never had an easy life. Both his parents are black and lack funding to send Abe to a good school or such. That's why Abe joined a local street gang and he soon became a prominent member in this gang. Abe has great leadership skills, and quite the intelligence to put those skills to full use. Unfortunatly the gang was forced to split up after some of the members failed some of their assignments. Abe decided to join the army by this time, as he skipped more classes at school than he attended and he got kicked out.

The army brought a whole new dimension to the life of Abe. He wasn't "just" a gangmember anymore, he was way more. Again his skills at planning and exercising those plans proved to be a great help for him to get in higher circles of the army. Training in some of the most deadly guns made Abe a valuable asset to his country. In the "higher circles" Abe learned there was more money to make with his skills than he did now. Some of his officers had connections to the underworld and they were interested in Abe. Very interested even. After a couple of succesful assignments in Mexico, Brazil and South-Afrika Abe got in the A. I. M., using the alias "Lincoln", as one of America's most important persons that ever excisted, Abraham Lincoln.

Abe is a fast learner and very skilled with automatic rifles as well as with handguns. He prefers silenced weapons as they dont draw as much attention and they get the job done as well.
