@Steve Gorak & @Tonguez - I foolishly (perhaps) made a suggestion as to what I thought you might like to do in Round 4, which you both took to heart, but that caused you to post your Round 4 turns early (I hadn't finished Round 3 with the others) SO... I haven't looked at your last posts yet. I can, and will, do it very soon, and see where you're at, but if you look at the latest posted map, this is BEFORE your recent posts, if you follow me.

OTOH, @Lidgar & @VLAD the Destroyer, I think that neither of you have taken your Round 3 Actions yet? I'm not really sure. But if you haven't, you can do that before you do your Round 4. If you look at the map, you have two Hazard #4s to deal with (the one behind you could have been Paddled in R3, the one in front, perhaps R4, otherwise I "owe" you an attack with them, which might not be pretty. IDK if you were just waiting for each other, but I had time to roll the round, so I did. IF there's any confusion, let me know and I'll take a look. I might just do a bunch of checks myself to catch us up to where I imagine us to be, but I'll give you a chance to do it yourself.

We're almost there! The side-stream is in sight to the North! Hopefully Loklafd will make his checks to flip himself over and won't drown in the river!

Got it. I assume we can use our action to Dash through the next Hazard in front of us? Can post that later today.

EDIT: I thought the Dash that Vlad just did already resolved the first Hazard #4 already. Also, is the body of Loklafd next to the overturned kayak? Approximately which grid space is he in?

OK, I'm now thinking the acrobatic/athletics checks to move doesn't help with resolving the swift currents. I assume we need to "attack" it with our paddles instead? Sorry for the confusion Fitz - fun encounter, just trying to get the mechanics right.

Ok, so I won’t post till we’re in the new round.
Cheers,

Yeah, I see the confusion that has come from getting a little out of sync with the turn sequence.

The trouble with dashing in this case, (And where I have put the kayak assumes that you DID dash) is you either stop within reach of the further back H4 or the further forward one, without neutralizing either. One or the other will attack, which gives you a chance of capsizing.

But if you plunge a paddle into the first H4, you can "stop" (your turn, not the kayak) before reaching the further H4's reach (10ft).

So I'd use your R3 action to "attack" with a paddle. Does that make sense?

But you are correct, VLAD dashed, which would have taken his action.

Loklafd should be visible on the rocks. I'll come back with coordinates.

I read this after I posted the above response. Yes, you get it!

So we're holding off our action this round right? (and watching while poor Loklafd bleeds out :()

new actions in round 5?
Unfortunately. I'd love to give you an extra turn to save him, but we all gotta wait and see. Who knows, maybe you'll pull off a miraculous rescue?
