A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe OOP

Great news! This supplement was/is one of those rare, 3rd party, gems that make the whole open gaming concept worth it. I can't imagine a world builder or game master not having this item somewhere on the bookshelf. (I should really do a review, huh?)

As for a future printing. Combine it with other material, and some new material, and wrap it in hard bound love. Depending on what material gets added, it could make the perfect "core book" for the Magical Society line of products.

I'd buy it.

Great news! Glad I have a copy. And a hardbound would be an easy sell to me too (assuming I have some money to spare). Can't wait till I get Monster Builder.

Beast Builder is cool, and Mr. Browning helped talk me into getting Grim Tales Creature Creation as well. The two do go very well together. (Though I immediately headed towards a few of the problems in the spreadsheet provided with GTCC with the first two creatures I tried calculating CRs for. I am good at that, I am! :P)

The Auld Grump, who calls while people are in the shower too...

I've been looking for a reason to buy this book for a long time. This thread pushed me over the brink. Ya got one more sale, Mr.Browning. :D

Aside to anyone in Memphis, TN. Sucka! *happy dance* I got the last one! Nya, nyah, nyah, nyah, hey, hey...

CONGRATS!!!
I thought I was keeping up with this. Guess I better try to stock up a bit more. No way my current supply will last for 2 years! (I doubt if it will last a week.)

Glad to see it still sells for you Curt. Without your early help it would have been that much harder for us to get into distribution at all. I never thought two years ago that we'd be almost out of the whole print run. It seemed huge-(46 boxes of 48 each). Our poor garage was stuffed.

We'll we've started thinking about expanding and collecting both books into a single massive hardcover with a new war section for MMS:WE and (tentitively) a new "culture builder" section for the MS:EC part. It'll be a ways off and it will be an expensive book, but it looks like there are plenty of people willing to pay for a solid collected hardback.

All in all, this thread is welcome relief from the hell that is moving. Nothing like lugging a bed up two flights of stairs. :)

Let me add my voice to this, just for additional incentive...

If you bundle Western Europe and Ecology & Culture into a single hardcover, and add a War section to boot, I'll buy it! Even if it costs $50, I'll buy it! I bought the softcover versions of both and I'm planning on buying the PDF of Beast Builder soon, but I'd still buy such a hardcover!

Ecology & Culture is a great book, too. Not as much hard material as MMS, but very well done and useful. Even if you have a solid idea of how worlds and culture work and evolve, info like that in E & C always bears repeating. And the story of the godling is just darned sweet.
