The character idea I've got brewing is that of an Antarian Ranger. Former parter with a Jedi Knight before the purge and now as on the run as the Jedi are. Probably built as a Scout 2, though that's still up in the air...

If you need info on the Rangers, its the first listing in the Faction section of the Hero's Guide.

Ankh-Morpork Guard - That sounds okay. However, since the empire is more or less on the decline, the whole running for your life thing wouldn't be much of a problem for you. Also, if you were a Jedi's partner, it's likely that you would be a little higher than level 2. Write me up a nice backstory and I'll bump you up accordingly.


Tailspinner, Pol, Supergirl - Take your time thinking up a character. Once I have part 2 of the prequel written and posted, that'll be the end of the campaign central backstory.

I am working on a character history, should be up tonight or tomorrow. The character will be a Pilot/Trader/Scoundral type who feels drawn to the planet through the force, and her force sensitivity. If you want, she could crash land her ship, and then combine the two ships into a working one.

Scoundral 2, with force Sensitive I think, give her room to expand and learn from the real force users without starting off as one.
 




Sorry, I missed the thread (forgot to subscribe) and am having a hell of a week. I still want to play and I'll submit a character concept TONIGHT, that would be 7 hours from now (don´t know your timezone).

I'd like to go with the random generation, so roll me a set of stats. Depending on them, and on the campaign (have to read it), I was thinking of:

A mercenary (soldier)

Cold, mercenary, code of honor. Good with ranged and if possible melee weapons. Not a thinker or a talker.. he does his job, be it good or bad, he would have fit with the empire or with the republic.

A native (force adept)

Natural force user, in awe with the jedi knights. Good natured. He likes to help and do the right thing. Proud of his fighting abilities wich he wants to improve. Curious of the Jedi Knights

A jedi (guardian)
A zealot, prone to violent outbursts who is perilously close to the dark side. He constantly fights his anger and impulse to severely punish anyone hurting innocents, ESPECIALLY females (he had an abused mother)

alright, head over to the ooc thread and you'll find your stats there. Also, I'm sure you'll do this, but be sure to read the prologue especially if you plan to start on 'the planet' as it were.

The soldier and force adept ideas could work out well if you start 'off planet', starting, on-planet, the jedi guardian idea might work out nicely. You could be one of the more frustrating students, and the outbursts could add a good hint of tension to the game.
