A quick question. Suggestions are welcome!

As an aside to this:
True strike, will that threaten for a Crit or is it just +20 to my attack role?
True Strike does not automatically make you crit, if that is what you mean.
However, if you roll a critical threat with the attack that has the true strike bonus, when you roll to confirm the crit you apply all the bonusses that aplied to your attack, including the True Strike +20.

So the chance for a crit threat remains the same, but your chances of hitting AND your chance of confirming a crit on that one attack increase.

There is some special magical chainmail that makes you immune to fatigue and exhaustion. Armour of the Unending Hunt, Complete Warrior, p. 134. +2 and Mithral, built by elves, so thematically appropriate. Do you have 21 500 gp to spare? :)

Here's a nice simple build for you: Barb8/Fighter2/Bear Warrior 10

Now, if you want something that doesn't get fatigued, you can go Barb 8/Strongarm Ranger 3/Horizon Walker 1

Strongarm Ranger gives Power Attack instead of TWF, and the Horizon Walker can select an ability that makes him immune to conditions that would normally cause fatigue.

What books are you looking in to find these classes, as they are definitely not base classes in the players handbook.

Oh by the way, thanks for posting that link, your guide appears to be very useful for ideas along the way.

Horizon Walker is in the Dungeon Masters Guide

Bear Warrior is in Oriental Adventures and Complete Warrior

Strong Arm Ranger isn't in a book its out of Dragon Magazine iirc

What are your characters stats and feats??

If your lvl 9 you should have at least 4 feats already.

Are you only using the Core books in your game?? (Players Handbook, Dungeon Masters Guide, Monster Manuel)

if not what other books are allowed??

humm... I was thinking the same thing. I should have more than just two feats by this level, I was just unsure. I dont have my sheet with my right now, our DM keeps them with him. So I know I am going to sound like a noob for asking but its important to know, how do I determine when I should get another feat?

How we like to do things is, all core books are open, but if a player has the book e.g. Complete warrior he/she may use that book and its features accordantly. Unfortunately I only have the 3 main core books. No psyonics or prestige classes are allowed.

never mind, I done figured it out. Everyone gets a new feat every odd level. Hum, I am kind of kicking myself in the bum for not knowing that.

Even the prestige classes from the core books are not allowed??

There are a handful of them in the Dungeon Masters Guide.

Look in your Players Handbook on page 22 and you will see a table that lists levels you get Bonus Feats

Alright so these are the feats I am thinking about taking:

Power attack
Improve Critical
Weapon Focus
Power Critical.

Improved Crit can be good, Power crit is pretty bad

What kind of weapon are you using??

With a Greatsword it would make you crit on a roll of 17-20 which looks good to me.

Make sure you get Power Attack, it is a Barbs best friend

Are you looking for only combat feats or out of combat stuff too??
