A quick question. Suggestions are welcome!

I am just looking to do massive amounts of damage all at once. Why is Power Crit bad? I thought it was an extra +4 to my crit threat. I am using a Warhammer, mainly due to the fact that it has a flaming enhancement. I am not actually using it two handed, I have a shield giving me some Defensive AC.

You can find a PDF of Complete Warrior on the internet if you look hard enough.

Good idea, but only problem with that is that our DM will not allow us to play as prestige class, but thanks for letting me know about the bear warrior, I am going to get that complete warrior book and check it out, it looks sweet!

Could someone please let me know what's wrong with the feat power critical? It seems to work just fine with improve critical with my standers, but I could be wrong.

Check the errata of the Complete Warrior on the WotC website. It fixes a few things wrong with Bear Warrior.

Let us examine Power Critical.

Power Critical [General]

Prerequisites

Weapon focus (chosen weapon), base attack bonus +4
Benefit

When using the weapon you selected, you gain a +4 bonus on the roll to confirm a threat.
Special

A fighter may select Power Critical as one of his fighter bonus feats.
You can gain Power Critical multiple times. Each time you take the feat, it may be with a different weapon or the same weapon. If you take it with the same weapon, the effects of the feats stack.

Bad things: it requires a poor feat (Weapon Focus), only works on a single type of weapon, and only gives a +4 bonus under situational conditions.

Compare to something like Leap Attack or Shock Trooper, which can be used pretty consistantly and have great returns.
