A Simple Errand (DM:renau1g, Judge: covaithe)

[sblock=ooc]Ingot could use one healing word on top of spending a regular surge. Although, it's not absolutely needed, with just two regular surges it'd be at 30/32.

Either way it's going to be at 4/9 surges... not too bad I guess.[/sblock]

After the short breather, Jax follows Rrek to the trap door.

"Let's keep going! The staff isn't going to steal itself."

[sblock=ooc]Jax will follow behind Rrek in the marching order. He keeps an eye open for traps or another ambush. Otherwise, sounds like we're heading into the next room.

I'd like to search the bookshelves/furniture before we go through the double doors. Jax isn't going first into this room though. ;)

Perception (search) (1d20+6=26)[/sblock]

Crag makes his way down the trap-door and keeps his sword and shield drawn in case they came into contact with another group of bullywugs. He keeps his eyes and ears open for the little croakers and takes a look into each passageway and room they come across before he stops in front of the double-doors.

[sblock=ooc]So... are we taking one extra short rest or not?

If we are, then healing word for Ingot: 16. That brings Ingot up to 30/32, plus one healing word is left for somebody else.

If not, Ingot spends two surges, also ending up at 30/32.[/sblock]

Ingot follows his companions down into the underground chamber. It stays towards the back as the others advance and search, trying to stay alert for new threats.

The group heads down the stairs and descends into the ruins.

This stone chamber is bathed in a greasy, yellow glow from a pair of smoking braziers in the northwest and southeast corners of the room. The floor is covered in a thick viscous mud that adds a swampy stink to the pungent smoke issuing from the braziers. Toppled tables, bookshelves, and other bits of furniture thrust up from the muck in various places like islands in a muddy sea. There are a pair of double doors that are slightly ajar.

You find a pouch on one of the shelves, inside there are a handful of gems. You see that they are not flawless, but should still net you a decent return. Likely around 250 gp or so. Also, next to the bag is a golden amulet with a single green crystal in the center.[/sblock]

Does that mean that there are actually two sets of two doors (each set leading to a different room?) or is there only 1 set of two doors? If there are 2 sets of double-doors, are both sets ajar? [/sblock]
