"Quite so. That's another good reason to assume she is involved with something different, though what it is I don't know."

"Here's an idea--is there a pattern such that we could try to predict the next target?"

"I don't think so. It seems pretty random other than avoiding humans, at least so far. Shall we each do a bit of research and then reconvene at the end of the week--I bet you guys have classwork to do as well. I know I do."

*When Vanitri returns to his room, Dolder is still up and studying, burning a strong pungent incense that cloys the whole room with the scent as he noisily scribbles notes in that little book of his. Vanitri and Laynie head to sleep before Dolder, though Vanitri wakes several hours later to the sounds of muffled curses, as his roommate puts out a small fire on his sleeve, one that had spread due to carelessly leaning over the table, no doubt.*

*Vanitri returns to his regular routine, working hard on his classes, which, despite Elektra's protestations that they were fairly trivial, are anything but. Each of them not only forces him to complete a large amount of reading and analysis work, but also engages him to think in ways that he is not used to thinking.*

*His hardest class is definitely 'Mysteries of the Six Towers', involving planar diagrams, ley lines, and other arcane concepts. He's constantly taking notes and concentrating just to keep up, especially with the first test coming up, but in one of the off moments, he notices a striking elven girl looking at him from across the room. When their eyes meet, she smiles and waves, before turning back to look at the board.*

*After class, the elven lass comes up to Vanitri. She has long light hair, either light blonde or perhaps white or a light blue, depending on the light, with lavender eyes lightly tilted like many elves, with long slender ears.*

"Hi there", she greets him with a small smile, "You look like you really get what's going on in there, but I'm afraid I barely have a clue. Oh, I'm Misha, by the way."

"I'm as lost as any man kin get by mearly looking into such beautiful eyes Mishra," Vanitri says with a warm smile. "I'm Vanitri, and tis a pleasure to meet ya."

"Though, as lost as we both may be, they say two heads are better then one. Perhaps we kin make some sense of this togeather? I've got nothin but time fer the rest of the day, ccompany as lovely as yours is hard ta turn down."

"A pleasure to meet you, Vanitri. You're quite a charmer, you know," Misha laughs softly, "Yes, a group study session would be nice. Should we look for an open spot in the library or great hall, or is there space in your room?"

OOC: Laynie's probably off with Lex at the moment I'd guess (since my classes are boring), my roomie likely around?

"There's probably space in my room if you'd prefer something quiet. There's also some lovely spots out on the grounds as well, if you don't mind the outdoors."

"Well, sometimes there's so much glare outside it's hard to read. Why don't we look for that quiet spot. So did you get what the professor was saying about planar junctions and the flow of elemental energy in a semicyclical arc towards the centre of the universe?"
