Adamant Entertainment PDF Products

See, that's interesting.

As a Gold Vendor at RPGNow, I have notifications of every sale sent to me. I save them for my records, and have done so for the entire history of the company.

They're searchable. By name, even.

What's fun about that is that the name in someone's RPGnow account does not have to match their real name in any way, shape or form. All that matters is that they have a paypal account. I've sold products to people with obnoxious swear words instead of names.

Why? the rules of the boards are for everyone, not even publishers are exempt.
As GMSkarka probably knows from own experience, though from a different playground ;).

Regarding the topic, I hear the demand for print versions without frills quite often. Not that it bothers me in this case, as I'm not into d20 Modern stuff.

I normally am, too. But when someone proves themselves to be a would be prima donna (only without the indispensible aspect), like Roudi says... continuing to purchase their products is a monetary approval of their distasteful attitudes. If I'm going to support someone monetarily, and they have a public face... that public face needs to be likable, or at least neutral. But that's just me.

*shrugs* I'm a New Yorker - I'm used to (and even prefer) it when somebody isn't afraid to tell it like it is or call it as they see it.

President. Hmmmm. President.

I think I know what my next career should be.

I don't know you from Caine, though I do own a few of your products. And from the quality of those I think you, at minimum, exceed the current holder's qualifications.

I do want to say I appreciate the publishers/authors who post and respond on this site (and others). Even if I don't like what they say all the time, it's better than ignoring your audience and customers.

If the only problem is border art, i'm pretty confident that removing that border art is easy as pie (with the right tools). Would converting color images to grey scale also be appreciated?

Gareth, if you want i could remove the border art and convert color to grey scale for you.

What tools, assuming the use of Acrobat Reader? If you are talking about Acrobat or a publishing program those are not available to the casual user.

G. M. Skarka's reply still seems inadequate, basically 'I don't have a problem so you don't have a problem.' Not good, in fact bad. And it is a shame, I really do like the Adamant products that I have used, but this continuing response is giving me a negative feeling towards the company and their products.

And I can tell you that they are in fact not 'whited out' by my HP 1210. Nor by my Lexmark, nor by the Canon at work. So 'most' seems dubious at best.
