There is a part of me that thinks we could be being put on. You have to admit, that would be a pretty funny gag. Could WotC be screwing with us?

If one were to intentionally try to make up a ridiculously cheesy ability name, I'm not sure most people could come up with an entry as good as "Lightning Panther Strike."

I also wonder if it's not a joke but rather an obfuscation system to hide the real names of feats and abilities...

Say you have a feat with the initials WTF.

But what if there's a counterpart ability for lazy, fat, immobile barbarians called "Slothful Panther Strike" that they use when someone gets in range (and they actually decide to expend the effort) to bite them wherever happens to be close to the barbarian's mouth?
