Adv: A Night at the Opera; Judge TwoHeadsBarking

Wesley gives out a 'Hmpf' as he's pushed forward, taking up a place between Essam and Rurdev.

"Well I might, if I knew what was going on."

[sblock=Dane]Dane you are not close to Wesley, nor can you currently see Incarnation or Essam.[/sblock]

"Nothing up this sleeve..." mutters Sheng, as he notes there's nothing of interest in this area. He recoils, and points at the top of the grades. "We still have to check the room at the left of the entrance."

Seeing that whom he should have been talking to is not near-by, Dane leaves the doors opens and clarifies his response to Wesley.

Incarnation keeps near the 'proprietor'. This 'Grabbag' is an associate of one called Alfred; this warforged is said to have broken into this place and not returned. It is intimated that this operation has something to do with the Merchants an that holding Grabbag is involved. Your tiefling indicated Grabbag was here, though that could have been falsehood. You are to say that there is no Grabbag? And I would know more about this haunting.

As Dane realizes his error he pushes back through the party to remake his statement to the captives.

"Stole him? Why would I steal a warforged?" Wesley quips, to which Essam seems to roll his eyes.

"There's a trap door at the very end of the hall. If you feel the floor you'll find a bit where you can pull it up. Goes below the theatre." Essam adds, to which Wesley sighs quite loudly.

After Incarnation clarifies further Welsey gets a bit red in the face. "A thief eh? And I should take it, by you're actions, that you are in league with him, cut purses and strong-armers all! I'll have you know that the Merchants of Bacarate are nothing but legitimate business men, and as much as I might like to see a thief taken care of, it is strictly out of the question!"

[sblock=Qynn]You sense the pressence of 14 separate magical aura's, most of which are below and before you, most likely on the floro below you, though some seem to be coming from the dressing rooms themselves.[/sblock]

[sblock=Dane/Rurdev]I would like to know what you did with all the stuff you found on the "crew".[/sblock]

Incarnation remains impassive at the accusation. I am the hand of fate, walking the steps of the Wizard of Fire as I am compelled. No cutpurse or scoundrel am I, nor are these others. They were hired to seek the release of one captured, nothing more. Where they hear only coin, I hear the whispers of history. All this has happened before. He focuses on Welsey again. And now about these hauntings...

Welsey seems completely thrown by Incarnation's words and still a bit confused. He manages a response. "Yes we lost a number of actors and our first crew due to sightings of apparitions, I never saw them myself."

"I did," adds Essam. "Glowing balls of light, you can even see through them sometimes. They come through the floors and walls, and shoot bits of themselves at people, till they run off."

[sblock=Incarnation]Ummm. . . maybe a Will O Wisp. . . or some incarnation or a god's will? You know that good witches sometimes travel in bubbles that might appear like a ball of light. And very tiny fairies.[/sblock]
