[Adventure] A Call for Lovers (DM: jbear Judge:Lord Sessadore)

Sir Flibbertigibbet shimmers and vanishes, reappearing some distance behind the attacking boggle. After winding up, he charges straight at his opponent, keeping low to the ground, but the boggle turns around at the last moment and the strike misses.

[sblock=actions]I think the boggle is directly underneath me in the same square? I'll do something else if this isn't the case.

Sabynha shifted to the balls of her feet, ready to spring away in the blink of an eye. She raised her blade and let out a primal vistani holler and charged back into the fray.

The boggle was ready for her, as she made no secret of her intent. Fortunately for her, Sir Flibbertigibbet was ready for *both* of them, and blinked out and behind the wily creature only to begin hurling insults at it and plucking out stray hairs after missing with his own charge.

Though his attack proved futile, it was enough to allow Sabynha's attack to slip past his defences and into its flesh instead. She struck hard, and then kicked off of him, ready for another strike. Both her vistani war-trill and the boggle's cries of pain could be heard throughout the battleground, and her allies knew then that she struck true. Even beyond sight, this brought added fury to their struggle.

[sblock=OOC]I assume you are talking about Maptool? It doesn't work with java7 because the launcher uses a wildcard to open the jar, which I think java7 doesn't allow for security reasons. In your maptool install location there should be a file named mt.cfg. Make sure you update the JVM entry to point to a java6 location.

JVM=C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC] Thanks, I am not entirely sure I know how to solve that. I will give it a go though and let you know if I figured it out.

[sblock=OOC] I should probably be writing this in the other thread...

Anyway... I have found the document and opened it with Notepad. I changed it for the line you left SoM, and something has definitely changed. It doesn´t give an error now. It opens up the launch window where you check the stack size. When I hit ok it disappears and NOTHING at all happens. Could I be directing it to the wrong place?

I am using a x64 bit Windows 7 OS. Would that make a difference?

Zuri's blow amazingly hits thanks to Wat's divine assistance. The low slash catches the boggle behind the leg and flicks him into the sharp thorns of the hedge causing it to howl in pain and fear. Only its wild panic keeps it alive.

GM: Zuri's attack hit; slide into hedge for 4 more dmg. (Yes the thorny hedge does 1d6 dmg)

The boggles, finding themselves sorely set upon, and disliking the grim resistance of their prey, attempt to end the lives of the wounded in order to even the odds.

One tears ruthlessly into the charging pixie with a shriek of mad glee before teleporting away. Another into Zuri, but Rain's protective magic greatly softens the blow. The wounded one manages to wrench itself from the hedge, but so close to death its attack is weak and wild. Both boggles teleport away further into the maze, one of them clearly hiding behind some sort of strange red berry bush that grows in the pathway between it an where Wat is looking.

GM: No map for now. I guess we will have to try and visualise what is going on for this fight. I have included old map below to help that process. I think you may well be able to wrap this if this round goes well for you ... fingers crossed! (That would give me time to sort maptools or an alternative!)

@Son of Meepo ; Did your damage include the bonus granted by my use of my weapon's daily power? I also have a floating +4 to damage that someone can use.
[MENTION=75065]jbear[/MENTION] ; What effect do the green bushes have on movement?
