Lilli responded to the Gnoll's question, "There might be, but I never had the need to go looking for them, or in fact, feel particularly threatened by any. There is the possibility that some other member threw some wards about or left guardians around as he shut up shop. Possibly there are beings still there maintaining the place; namely the Igors."

OOC: No constructs, all maintainance is done by the Igors. There maybe be an Igor or two, unless they disappeared along with the rest.

OOC: Sure; I was being vague in case you'd planned anything else, but I've edited to bring the Igors back into the picture. Hope that's OK.
 

Raiyek places a hand on Fhangrim's cart, then looks back towards the Hanged Man and furrows his brow for a moment. "Hold a moment, not everyone is ready yet." He listens to the talk of the Institute but has nothing to add, having never visited the place before.
 

Indeed, as the elven paladin indicates, there is a party member lagging behind. The cart and its menagerie linger at the end of the street from the Hanged Man. As the group slows to wait, the scouting members already appreciate something isn't right. The shadows seem to move... Like the light making the shadow isn't always in the same place. The effect is subtle but appreciable.
