Marshal Rikkert listens quietly while the information is discussed and decided upon by Hilkalas.

"That likely has a lot to do with why we keep getting attacked. I agree we should check it out."

Sirrah shakes his head in disagreement. "First we should do the job we've been hired for and get our charge to his destination. Then we come back and take care of the fortress after we had a chance to rest."

 

[Voda Vosa]

OOC: I suggested going to the outpost.

OOC: Ok, so we have two players voting to move to the outpost and two players voting to move on down the trail. How do people want to break this stalemate?

 

[Son of Meepo]

"We are not being paid to kill bandits, that is only a side benefit to our agreement. Our task and our duty is to escort Jasper to his sister's house. Investigating the outpost wastes our benefactor's time."

 

[FourMonos]

"Look, if we walk by that fort, we could be setting ourselves up for yet another ambush. The troll got away and is likely going to attack us again with more Droamish trash. I say we check it out and maybe cut off whoever is leading this troop off before they can attack again. Maybe we can use it to our advantage."

OOC: There is no guarantee we make it past the fort without another fight.

"Indeed. Getting to the fort is in the best of our interest, if we want to stay alive that is, not that you care too much for that yourself."he says to the elf. "the outpost will allow is to avoid further ambushes" Hilkalas gives another step towards the fort. "Unless you are afraid of a little challenge"

"I think we've been in some difficult fights already today, and we are not being paid to investigate the fort." Tana said.

OOC: If there's a chance of avoiding trouble, we should take it. Tana's down to half her surges and has no dailies or item dailies left; if we can get to an extended rest without fighting, I'd prefer it.

The Marshal looks over to the fort. "Fine. I hope we don't regret this."

OOC: drothgery is right on the whole missing dailies thing. We barely survived the last encounter when we had them. I'll concede to skip the fort... for now.

"what is the point on having a field Marshall with you if you don't listen to his tactical advise?" The Marshall said. "I too hope we are not getting spotted from the fort"
