Adventure: Food of the Gods (DM: ryryguy, Judge: renau1g)

[sblock=ooc]oh yeah, student of the sword. duh.

re: giant portrait, yeah I had the mouse over him I guess when I took the screen shot. :) It doesn't look like him? It's a kobold with a sword and a shield! It actually came from this picture, which is pretty awesome: Kobold Hero., Steve Dismukes, SciFi Fantasy Art

I haven't put the inside of the hut on the map, but you can indeed tell Krassus to go in there if you want.

[sblock=ooc]They don't look very reptilian to me. Maybe like jackal people or something. And Papolstaanas would be very embarrassed going into battle with no shirt like that :)

I've got a really silly picture for Kaeysari though.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]It's true, the artist comments that he likes the older canine kobolds rather than the newer reptilian ones, so that does produce a different look. But I like the way it riffs on those classic Frazetta pictures.[/sblock]

Azryah, feeling slightly restored, moves down to the edge of the hut. She can just see the halfling amongst the groundcover, and concentrates hard on sending Merkari's vengeance to bring him down, but it seems she must still be weak, because he doesn't answer her.

[sblock=mechanics]Move: P11

[sblock=LadyLaw]Did you want to put your Oath on the slinger?

Also, don't worry about updating the mini stats in your sig if that's a pain. I can remember to look for the one that's in your post for the latest version... I didn't realize where I was looking before. :)[/sblock]

[sblock=ryryguy]Nope. It doesn't do anything for me if I'm not in melee with him and it doesn't affect my teammates without access to divine guidance, so it's sort of a wasted action to oath him right now (not that I have anything else to do with a minor, but whatever).

I might have anyway if I'd actually hit him, but seeing as I crit failed I think it makes better story not to and have her feel like she's still too weak so that her powers aren't responding to her. :)[/sblock]

Papolstaanas, breathing hard from the pain of so many snake bites, winds his way over to his friends, giving the trees a wide berth. He yelps in anguish as he sees Kaeysari. "Is she... is she..." he stammers, failing to complete a sentence before noticing, to his immense relief, she is breathing steadily. "We've got to kill that little sneak..." he sputters almost tearfully (apparently unaware of any irony in a kobold's referring to someone else as a "little sneak"). He looks around wildly at the landscape, seeing no halfling, and darts to the door of the hut to see whether his enemy is in there.

[sblock=actions]Double move to to J13, in a sort of roundabout way to avoid trees, which he is now uniformly suspicious of. He goes to L9, across to L11, then up to J13.

Minor to shift to K14. Papolstaanas sticks his head into the hut and looks around (not enough time to take a really good look, just to notice any obvious threats).[/sblock]

Jynxx enter's Krassus' mind, "Follow the one with the brimmed hat. He will lead you to safety." Jynxx notches an arrow in his bow and turns back to look at Krassus, "Come, let us find a place away from these rock throwers."

Cautiously he moves into the hut.

[sblock=Mechanics]

Minor: Perception check to look for traps 1d20+10=13 lol wow.

Move: into the hut

Standard: (ready an action) If there is an enemy inside, Jynxx will use Vicious Mockery on it. 1d20+5=21, 1d6+5=11

"Ow! Gosh gerfit!" Cillani whipped around and glared hoping to catch sight of the slinger. She closed her eyes and muttered a small prayer. The lightning returned once againbefore she dashed behind the hut. "Annoying little bugger."

[sblock=Actions] Perception check to spot the slinger: 1d20+4=6unless he's no longer concealed that's a fail lol. Vanguard's Lighning vs. SLinger F 1d20+4=19 , Dam: 1d6+4=6. And moved to O11. [/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]There was no need to try to spot the slinger, he lost stealth when he attacked you. (He can have concealment without being hidden.) Though I don't know, I might have left something stale in the status block for him. :)

I believe everyone's gone yes? I will post an update tonight.[/sblock]
