Adventure: Hey! That's Not Wayne's Basement! (DM: H.M.Gimlord, Judge: Ozymandias79)

"You're Next," Jin said, moving attack the Drake.

The Jade warrior attacked with both Katanas, trying to decapitate the annoying creature, but it proved to be more difficult that he expected.

[sblock=OOC Question]Are those stair leading downwards or upwards to the room with the bandits?[/sblock]
After a howl of pain at his wounds, Talon growls low in his throat as he seems to hunch down lower in his stance. His fur bristles and his claws and fangs seems to extend slightly more than before. His flesh crawls as it begins the process of knitting itself back together slowly.

Thrusting his spear out savagely, Talon impales the creature right through its head! It's body convulses and shakes before dropping off the spear dead. Turning towards the other drake, Talon sets himself to attack it if it flies back within his range once more.

[sblock=Actions/Stat block]Start= Dayna ongoing 3 damage (now 18/22 total); Talon bloodied (11/26)

Minor= Longtooth Shifting encounter power = +2 damage for rest of encounter and Regen 2 while bloodied for rest of encounter.

Standard= Circling Strike at Spiretop Drake 1 AC16 (1d20+5=25) CRIT! Max damage to drake would be 10 + 3 (Str) +2 (Longtooth Shifting) = 15 damage to drake 1, killing it.

Move= Convert to Minor= Hunter's Quarry on Spiretop Drake 2

Action Point-Standard Action= Readied Action: Trigger=Spiretop Drake 2 moving into square G18. (This attack would interrupt its attack and go first. Don't know if we'd still get OA's as well or not.)
Enclose the Prey readied attack at Spiretop Drake AC16 (1d20+5+3=21) (Forgot to add Riardon's +3 into the original roll, but its listed here.)
Enclose the Prey damage w/longtooth shifting bonus +2 (2d10+3+3+2=17) 17 damage to Spiretop Drake before its attack if it comes into G18.
1d6 Hunter's Quarry damage to Spiretop Drake w/ readied action (1d6=3)Forgot to add the Hunter's Quarry damage to the above. With +3 the total damage would be 20.

End= Save vs. Ongoing Damage (1d20=13) Made save to end OG damage to Dayna finally!

Hrm... With everyone piled at the door as they are, Rujah really cannot get in to defend without preventing most of you from striking. I could move to cover Talon until everyone is ready to get into position to 'divide and conquer' though. Opinions?[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC; Player Tactics]
Why don't you and anyone else not acted also prime actions for the same spot. In character, Talon could spend a free action to quietly express the intention to draw wait for the enemy to come to up. You might knock out the second drake that way.

I suppose I can move behind Dayna and prepare a Thorn Strike.[/sblock]

Rujah shifted himself behind the Shifter's wolf, growling as he realized how grieviously injured the shifter had become. It seemed his allies were either more fragile than he estimated, or he was failing miserably in guarding them. He would need to be sure to correct that error in the future. He called out in challenge to the thieves, his voice booming loudly.

"Come then, cowards! Stand and fight or be hunted down and slaughtered!"

Move=I18
Standard=Ready Thorn Strike to hit the first creature to enter G18, intending to hold it there(Not sure if I can use a slide to prevent a square of movement somehow to make it's retreat slower)

[sblock=Theroc]You can't use a slide to hold him, but you could have moved to I17 and readied your action to strike at G19 (which is legal, but penalizes you with a -2 for cover). That would halt the target's move. Then you pull it to G18 which is difficult terrain. Then if he tries to run, the whole world gets an OA. From H17, however, you cannot pull the target any closer.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Still waiting on Riardon[/sblock]

Well, I suppose I wanna move over next round, since I can't change now, ;) I forgot I could attack diagonally(in 3.5 they had wonky rules for diagonals)[/sblock]
