*Vrina answers in Draconic:*
[SBLOCK]
"I don't need a weregild, that Jiigral's game, not mine...I don't think Shural would raise my brother anyway. But I must have vengeance for Garank or I could never live with myself. I must engage in a duel of life with my brother's murderer. There is no other option...perhaps you are right and I will die, but I am not afraid to go to him. I am Vrina, daughter of Lyana, and I do not fear death."
[/SBLOCK]

Jiigral growls in anger at A'jardin in Goblin:
[SBLOCK]
"So then, you prefer to be met with violence and killing, like the emotional bitch desires, rather than the mercy and diplomacy I offer you? So much so that you wish to personally insult me and my men and make nice with her? Are you some kind of masochist?"
[/SBLOCK]

I'm hoping I am not too late, but while everyone else is talking, I want to prevent the hobgoblins from CDGing the render known as 'Doggie'. Especially in front of the little girl.

As the hobgoblin approaches the render that Tandi and the little girl are beside, she sees that it has a rather hostile intent in its eye. Quickly standing, she interposes herself between the hobgoblin and the girl and render.

I want to prevent the hobgoblins from CDGing the render known as 'Doggie'
(OOC: Ya, I figured, so I didn't let them finish the action until you came back :))

*The hobgoblin who attempted to coup de grace motions for Tandi to get out of the way.*

"He wants you to move so they can kill the monster," the hobgoblin leader explains, "If we don't it will continue to ravage the area as well as spawn more of itself."

Somac: Male Human Bbn 3

Somac had hoped that the situation was defusing. Now, however, he begins to panic a bit as he sees it slipping out of control again. The whirlwind of languages and emotions and conflicting motivations makes his head spin.

He doesn't move or take any actions, but keeps a close eye on his greataxe, ready to spring forward and retrieve it if the situation turns again to battle. He hopes Scun can keep up with the wand if it should come to that.

Goblin:
[sblock]The only one who has threatened violence here is you Jiigral. Between us Somac and I have offered more than the wirgild you have demanded, but my understanding is that wirgild goes to the next of kin, and she is standing right here. What she does with it is none of my concern. Steal it from her if you like, I don't care. According to what you were saying, the issue is settled, so if you don't mind, we have some equipment to gather from the orcs to recoup our losses somewhat.[/sblock]

common:
Sorry for losing my temper everyone, I was just informing Jiigral and his men that I in particular accede to his demands. If possible I'd like Somac to keep that axe of his, so if anyone can come up with something else worth 75 gold, then it is covered. Somac, I am sorry, I tried to talk the hobgoblin out of demanding a duel, but she isn't listening. Lets gather the orc equipment, since Jiirgral is afraid of us healing anyone we'll need to wait until they leave to wake everyone.

*Jiigral speaks in Goblin:*
[SBLOCK]
"As I said, there is no need for the additional payment, but we would be happy to take any more you would like to offer. As for the orcs' equipment, you are welcome to any of their gold, but we are taking the six sets of chainmail and axes with the symbol of the orc tribe to the village as proof of the orcs' defeat. If you really want to go around using orcish equipment, you can follow us to the village and take the filthy things after we present them. Otherwise, the issue has now been settled with me once the barbarian finishes using his axe and presents it and you decide whether or not you want to keep the scroll--the barbarian should prepare to defend himself though: that spoiled bitch is at it again."[/SBLOCK]

*Vrina looks at Jiigral, perhaps angrily but her expression is not visible due to her helm. She takes up Somac's axe and tosses it as his feet, then stands with her longsword and shield at the ready, waiting for him to pick it up.*

In goblin:
[sblock]By what right are you claiming the equipment of the orcs we defeated? If you want it, I'd be happy to sell it to you though.[/sblock]

In common:
Jiigral seems to think that the orc's equipment belongs to him, I'm offering to sell it to him.

"That's basically what I tried before. I think the equipment should be the weregild, and you guys should keep your stuff."

Tandi smiles, unmoving with a thought forming in her mind. "Then perhaps you can explain that to her." She looks down where her hand is on the shoulder of the little girl. Tandi then looks at the hobgoblin expectantly.
