I, of course, am insisting that since we defeated the orcs while they were hiding in the woods, that any salvage is ours, though I have offered to sell it to them if they are interested.

I consider what I said to be an accurate summary. For some reason you feel that even though you never struck a blow against the orcs, you have an equal right to their equipment. That is ridiculous.
