ooc: I'm just confused. Suddenly all these people are in the conversation? No one's gotten anyone else yet, as I understand. Speeding up things would be nice, though.

*Lena leads Tandi and all her friends who come with her to a nice, comfy sitting room in the town hall--not too elaborate or ostentatious, but roomy and comfortable in a small-town sort of way.*

*Role-call for the people who came and we will proceed.*

(OOC: Rystil's note--As per the 'Get things moving' , I want to move along just as much as you guys, but I need one of you to post that you do something before I will ever proceed. There's no trap here, but later there might be a trap somewhere, so I'm not going to give it away by only waiting on you guys if something bad will happen and going on autopilot if it won't, if you know what I mean (I also don't want to be declared as railroading when the PCs didn't say they woulddo it yet). All I saw up until Tandi's last post was a discussion with two separate opinions and no definitive action--Tandi's post let's me move along--thanks shadow! :)

Oh, and please let me know if anyone has a good solution to the problem I mentioned above that would move faster, as I'm more than willing to accept pointers :))

Somac: Male Human Bbn 3

Somac follows Tandi. As he looks around the sitting room, he is quite impressed. Even as the nephew of the tribal chieftan, he was never afforded such comforts. Any place with 4 walls seems almost like a palace to him. Although he isn't sure, he bets that Vrina feels the same way--unless hobgoblins live differently here than they do where he comes from.

He takes a seat, resting his weary legs, and waits.

"Is it all right if Alton comes in?" Cade asks, not wanting to be rude.

OOC: If we setup a "standard" procedure where someone is searching doors before we do anything else, that could speed them up a bit. Till then, we as players need to jump on actions a bit more.

Anton follows and enters the town hall. "Well, if he may go, why not..." Once inside he, too, looks for a comfortable seat.

(ooc: I'd recommend--once you have an idea of where everything is going, or if the pace seems to be dragging, take the executive decision to push things along with the understanding that players can make tweaks to their specific actions.)

(OOC: Jdvn1--the problem with that is that when something dangerous comes. Let's use a trap for example--obviously if I say "Anton walks forward and triggers the deadly Beri Beri trap that was on the giant idol, failing his save and dying" you will say "Wait, Anton decides not to step forward." and depending on metagaming, some people might go so far as to say, "Instead of walking forward, we shoot the idol with a bow until it is destroyed.")
