(ooc: Well, at least take some initiative--you could ask everyone, "This seems to be dragging a bit. Should I assume we move on and everyone walks forward? If no response in 48 hours, I'll assume so.")

(OOC: That sounds fair to me, and I'll try it, though keep in mind that I do prefer to have a stated PC action, and it will be helping me greatly if you give one (specifically, it also helps me to not forget about updating the game because it gives me e-mail notification :)))

(ooc: Well, hopefully, asking for a stated action will get you one. Waiting a week for a stated action might be asking too much. I don't see a problem with asking on the discussion thread what judges think about it, though.)

(OOC: There was only really two days of hanging for an action--the rest of the week seemed to be a legitimate discussion amongst the party about the pros and cons of going into town...I'm not sure what the judges would be able to contribute, but perhaps they do know something :))

"Why, sure--What a cute doggie!" Lena replies, petting Alton gently on the head.
"Thank you." Cade smiles and ushers Alton in. He finds a spot where Alton can lay down out of other people's way and sits down by the large dog.

(ooc: I've been waiting for something to do for much more than two days. Regardless, I was thinking that pushing the game along too much might be frowned upon by the judges. There's still an issue of fairness involved, after all. People don't have to post every day (especially in such a large party). I dunno, just a thought.)

(OOC: Oh, I see what you're saying with the judges. That does make sense, as your idea to say 'Post or I will make you do X' could seem like an ultimatum for someone who has little time to post. I also agree that some people did have to wait longer than two days, though there was discussion up until the 25th.)

(OOC: Jdvn1--the problem with that is that when something dangerous comes. Let's use a trap for example--obviously if I say "Anton walks forward and triggers the deadly Beri Beri trap that was on the giant idol, failing his save and dying" you will say "Wait, Anton decides not to step forward." and depending on metagaming, some people might go so far as to say, "Instead of walking forward, we shoot the idol with a bow until it is destroyed.")
OOC: On the other hand, we can't play this like it's a desktop game. It will just get too slow and then peter out pretty quickly. One of the quirks of PbP is that we just have to relinquish a certain amount of control to the DM. I say, trust us to be good roleplayers--if our characters would have no idea of the danger, then we should just accept that Anton walked forward (why would he not have?). In turn, we will trust you to not put save-or-die traps in a location where we wouldn't be aware of any danger. ;)

Tandi graciously bows to Lena and sits with her friends at a table, suddenly realising her legs were tired as well. She then waits to see what Lena or the mayor does, standing to bow to him if he approaches.
