Adventure:Land Ho! FWBTHW (DM:H.M.Gimlord,Judge:Ozymandias79)

BenBrown: It's your character, but i f you wanted to use a rage daily this encounter, do it soon. Barbarian's are one of the classes that benefit from early daily power use. Just a suggestion (sorry if playing a warlord makes me bossy, if anyone has a tip for Riardon's next action, I will listen!).

[sblock=WD]I intend to, but I'd prefer to actually hit with it. Unfortunately, being a weapon wielder, I've got no NAD attacks, so I really need to charge or get CA to hit things more reliably. Also, hoping we can get these guys fighting one another.[/sblock]

[sblock=theroc]perferable a power which doesn't over mark my mark![/sblock]

OOC: >.> 90% of my powers are AoE or mark my target. I suppose I can just opt to not mark, but I also cannot mark anything with my class Feature? I'm guessing we're making an alliance with the Kobolds for now? I had actually been considering the opposite since the Kobolds attacked first, but dunno how Rujah will like being maimed by a dragon either. <.<

Anyone have any suggestions for Rujah? PC:Rujah Neth(Theroc) - L4W Wiki

Is his profile. I can't really use my class feature and my Path feature without screwing Gensai's mark. So... I'm sortof at a loss as to what to do.

[sblock=Rujah/OOC]I think in this instance, my marking works out better, since it punishes 100% of the time, both by blocking damage to the others and dealing damage to the dragon (no roll required). And, I don't have to do anything to maintain it, as long as you don't override my mark.

In terms of what Rujah should do, I see the predicament, since all of your At-wills auto-mark. You should probably drop the daily. Extra AC couldn't hurt. Also, the encounter that goes with that daily doesn't auto-mark, so it's a good one.

You might have to resort to melee basic attacks (Your MBA is equal to Warden's Lunge, just without the marking); I know it sucks, but when you have 2 defenders vs 1 solo, no other option than to pick a set of marks.

[sblock=ooc]Yes, two defenders when you can't divide up the enemies is awkward. To add to that, we're not entirely sure if the kobolds are going to stop attacking us. I don't think you can go wrong activating your daily, but might want to stick with an MBA until we know who it is we're actually fighthing. Save the AOEs until you know if we're fighting multiple foes or not.[/sblock]

(So, Rujah should be striking the dragon only? I imagine that's the consensus everyone came to ICly, and he'd likely be following that consensus.)

[sblock=ooc]Things are a little confused at the moment, but since the dragon is the biggest threat, and seems to be attacking us, that's probably the best way to go.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Don't forget the extra MBA you get from Riardon.[/sblock]

One moment Rujah was defending his party and avenging his injury, the next he was maimed by a dragon and buried in angry kobolds... groaning on the ground, Rujah hears Riardon's inspiring words [OOC: Lol, "It's JUST a dragon!?] and rouses himself and raises his hammer into the air, swinging the thing twice fiercely, his strikes unable to pierce the beast's hide...

[sblock=Actions]
Free: Regain 21 HP
Free: MBA at Dragon 1d20+10=26, 1d10+5=12 (Sigh... 2 away... BAH)
Minor: Activate Form of Winter's Herald
Standard: MBA at Dragon 1d20+10=22, 1d10+5=12
Move: Shift to -A 22[/sblock]

[sblock=Theroc]You need to stand first, so you will be unable to shift (unless you spend an action point). If you remain prone, you can move, but you will draw OAs from A LOT of bad guys.

BTW: You're already at -A22. The dragon slid you there with her Luring Gaze.

Also (if you stand), your first attack hits because of Defender9's None Shall Pass effect (the Dragon suffers a -2 penalty to all her defenses until the end of Defender9's next turn).[/sblock][sblock= Good News and Bad News]The good news: My wife packed her laptop, so I can post things that are a little more complex.

Bad News: It's her laptop, so all of my Maptool maps and tokens are in it. With the schedule I'm on, I don't think I'll be able to accurately recreate the map. If I can find the time, I'll post the bad guys' moves as well as I can without a map.

If I have even more time, I'll try to recreate the map as best I can (but this is highly unlikely). If not, we'll have to wait until Saturday the 11th before I can get the map up again.

Many apologies.[/sblock]
