[Adventure]: Shards of Eldanarth (DM: MadAzolin, Judge: ??)

As Cyr attempts to move away from owl-beasts, they hoot and reach for him.
Larger of monsters, owlbear hunter swings its talons, but its swings to wild, likely targeting some other prey with strange maze that exists on in its mind. Slightly smaller owlbeast attacks as well, throwing wild swing at some unseen foe and while it is obvious it wasn't aimed well, talons graze retreating invoker, tearing through comfortable silvery radiance and dealing light wound.

As Tide of the First Storm washes over monsters, searing them and changing battlefield into Cyr's playground for a moment, monsters hoot in pain and owlbear hunter releases thunderous screech, but its onslaught is to no avail - while screech is deafening, everyone was out of its danger-zone except for Jade, and fey-beast seems totally unaffected - perhaps its fey nature plays some role...

- owlbear hunter #2 is bloodied, does reaction blast attack with no effect as everyone is out of blast radius

Based on the numbers on the grid: madowl 123/200 -11 = 112 not 116 - not bloodied, true, I was going on 120 as bloodied value, my bad...H1 138/240 -22 = 116 definitely bloodied...

Kane breathed a deep breath as the radiant light reached him and sealed the worst of the savage wounds inflicted on him both physically and mentally by the feral fey hunters. He found himself on the edge of the battle field, so moved swiftly to take up a more central position, but not too close to get into range. His companions seems to have bound the creatures momentarily to the spot and he would do well to take advantage of that from the distance for the moment.

Snarling the strange creature held his ground, baiting the perilous hunters, blood dripping from its snout and the lines about its form blurring as though it was only just holding on to this reality. With a flourish of his blade Kane caused the air amongst the two immobilised owlbears to explode with cold shards of biting wind, smashing their heads together, the mad owlbear bearing the worst of the collision.

Vermithrax stands up and dusts himself. Obviously relieved that owlbear is no longer close, he pulls out small crystal from his robes and takes a look through it. Smiling to himself, he points the crystal toward owlbear madowl and chants softly - "Look... how pretty it shines, look....". As he chants, crystal seems to shine and sing softly, attempting to draw you attention, but despite its alluring glow, it seems to have no effect on the monster - it seems to distracted to pay necromancer any attention.

Hooting, bleeding and burning, Madowl swings its talons, targeting foes that exist only in its mind. It turns in places and wanders around a bit as if attempting to navigate some unseen labyrinth, but result of its struggle is that is fails to move anywhere.

Severely wounded owlbear hunter seems to fare no better then its packmate - hooting madly, it assails invisible foes and attempts to break down nonexistent barriers, paying no heed to its prey. As magic that binds its mind into phantom maze fades, it turns its fury back toward adventurers, eyeing Jade and Kane with bloodshot eyes, but exhaustion prevents it from charging... for now.

Third monster advances forward, brute forcing its way through thick vegetation and slowing magic. For its effort, owlbear is rewarded by burst of dire radiance that takes away patches of feathers and opens searing wounds in its flesh. However, it seems to only make it angrier and it approaches, preparing for savage attack.

H1 moves out of difficult terrain. It then takes another move action to approach. It takes 17 radiant damage from dire radiance ​in the process.

Lerrick moves closer to the battered wizard. She pulls out a potion from her belt. Here, drink this. It wont mend you, but it will help. She then turns her attention an advancing beast. Pointing her hand towards the beast she mumbles a prayer. Wisps of silver appear in front of the beast, but then disappear quickly as the Lerrick could not break the will of the enraged beast.
