"Nah I'm good, just need a little breather and I'll be ready to take on more of these birds." replies Gogmorthak.

ooc: spending one healing surge to hit 54/57. I think Gog has another surge or two. I lost track though so I could very well be at 76.

OOC: After 2 encounters without an extended rest, we ought to all be up for a milestone- if so, I think that gives us each an AP, and allows Sweetness to recharge her expended Daily item power. At least that is how I understand matters- I haven't actually been in a 4E game that got to a milestone yet. Sweetness will take a short rest, if only to recharge Encounter powers

According to page 259 in the PHB, you are right. I also think that Valemont has acknowledged this in his last status block. I believe you already have an 'AP 1' next to Sweetness' name.

Can replenish two healing infusions in a single short rest (I would, of course need two healing surges, either from myself or an ally)? My understanding has been that I can only do one.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Healing Surge: You can have up to 2 healing infusion, and you can recharge all of them during a shot rest. You can spend all the HS you want during a short rest, and they can be use to heal yourself or replenish an healing infusion.

PHB p.226 said:
Daily power from magical items: A magic item’s daily power can be used
once per day and is renewed when its user takes an
extended rest. As with daily powers provided by your
class, there is a limit to the number of magic item
daily powers you can use on any given day. This limit
depends on your level.
At 1st–10th level, you can use one magic item daily
power per day.
At 11th–20th level, you can use two magic item
daily powers per day.
At 21st–30th level, you can use three magic item
daily powers per day.
Each use of a magic item daily power must come
from a different magic item. At 11th level, for example,
you can use the daily powers provided by two different
magic items, but you can’t use two different daily
powers from the same magic item. Your character
sheet includes boxes to help you keep track of these
uses.
Each time you reach a milestone (see page 259), you
gain one additional use of a magic item daily power.
This benefit can be used to activate any magic item
daily power that you have not already used this day
(even if you’ve already used a different daily power
from that magic item).
After you take an extended rest, all of your magic
item daily powers are renewed, and you start fresh
with regard to the number of magic item daily powers
you can use per day.

That mean, unless your item explicitly tell it, it won't recharge after a milestone, but you would be able to use a second daily item from now on.

Yes, this is a Milestone, I've edited your number of AP in the last status.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=OOC] Thanks for clearing this up. Sorry for the delay.

Arkavas will spend 4 healing surges.

2 to get back to max, and 2 to replenish 2 healing infusions.

This leaves him at 1 surge. I suppose that will do. If anyone wants to donate a healing surge I would be grateful, but it's not necessary at this point:cool:.

I'll also be keeping better track of these in a mini-stats block so that I can avoid the confusion myself.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Good news, Gruff and Arkavas have one more HS than shown in the last update. I reduce by 1 there number of HS when Arkavas used his curative infusions.

A suggestion. Before you replenish yourself your infusion. Before you do it, you are at 4 HS left. Except Narvala, you have the least, and you have someone like Gruff who would be with at least 8 after he decide to expend some HS to heal himself.

I'm not sure how many more encounter you'll want to do before trying to find a safe place to do an extended rest, but you better spread the HS expenditure as much as possible to have everyone up as long as possible.[/SBLOCK]

Outside of the two closed sarcophagus and the three closed crypt, the group find nothing of value, only a few pieces of mundane equipment made for the usage of the kenkus and some everyday items. They seems to have established home in the Tor, and the Crypt have become there living quarters.

"Say, Grim. Or is it Gruff. I don't believe I've said your name right since we started on this little adventure. What say we take a look at the other room."

Arkavas walks over to the pool in the middle of the other room and looks in, expecting to see anything but his reflection

The force field blocking the northern hallway also catches his interest.

"You all might want to take a look at this."

I am reluctant to disturb the dead, however, we are here to locate Gareth's amulet. Perhaps it would be wise to exhume the crypts and sarcophagi before moving on?
