[Adventure] The Cannith Caper (Judge: THB)

Harressh trots into the room, skidding to a stop ten feet short of the ledges, and spits a cloud of ice at the closest bowgoblins. The nearest one is able to duck out of the way but the farther one is not so lucky. It screeches and falls. Then the sorcerer points his staff and spits flaming meteors at the next two bowmen. This attack is also effective, and the dragonborn grins a toothy grin, pleased that his skills seem to have recovered from their recent misfires.

[sblock=Actions]Move: to AC39

He steps into the room... and is jumped by a scimitar-wielding hobgoblin that he just manages to parry! Stopping in his tracks, he draws on an inner reserve and with an amazingly quick through-motion after the parry, spins his polearm and smashes into the attacker. Electricity arcs through the tip of the glaive as he does and the jolt from the hit sends the hobgoblin flying across the room where he falls on his back.

"Three more hobgoblins and a big ugly guy in the corner!" he yells back to the group. With a bestial smile, he adds, "Just cleared the way!"

Varak moves into the room, initially towards the ladder to the shelf. When the other foes are seen, the half-orc veers off his path. The barbarian slashes wickedly at the hobgoblin lying on his back from the Shifter's attack.

The large bugbear leaps off the raised area and pulls out a large wire that he attempts to wrap around Varak's neck, but the half-orc just ducks at the last moment to keep it off him.

The two remaining archers turn their attention to Harresh, both arrows flying into the dragonborn.

The injured hobgoblin stands up and his eyes flare with anger, "So you want to mess with Kelg? Let's dance" as his scimitars move fluidly, one distracting the half-orc and the other scoring a brutal blow. "Ha!" he taunts.

The two other scimitar-wielders look at each other and speak in another language before moving towards Harresh. One of them circles around behind the dragonborn while the other moves quickly down and attacks Harresh.

[sblock=goblin]
"Get the dragon, he looks like easy pickings, I'll circle around" [/sblock]

"Mmmmm....can't wait to roast this dragonkin tonight... haven't eaten one in ages" the one hisses as it lands a blow that staggers Harresh.

Varris! Our dragon here could use a little help! Leaving it to the bard to help Harresh get out of the stick situation, Haltor stepped forward and rushed toward the hob giving the dragonborn trouble. Using his momentum, he undercut the bigger foe's legs, following up with a swipe to the chest. He then bellowed to the others. C'mon! If I can cut them down, surely you can![sblock=Actions]Move to shift forward then standard to use Flattening Charge B2: Hit (23 Fort), 18hp and B2 is prone., and powe ris not expended.[/sblock][sblock=Haltor]Haltor—Male Halfling Warlord 4

[sblock=ooc]Not sure what the mark around Gark means - he isn't bloodied and I don't think he's marked - just checking.

Also, I'm going to assume that nothing is difficult terrain unless otherwise specified![/sblock]
Gark cackles with laughter and runs haphazardly over beds and debris to the center of the room. "Did I tell you you could get up!" he taunts the hobgoblin he struck before as he slides up next to him - all the while lightning begins to arc up and down the blade of his glaive. With a quick flick of the wrist, his polearm smashes into the foe yet again, hitting him in the chest and then sweeping him off his feet. The back of the glaive catches and digs into the hobgoblin's leg as Gark swings him around like a ragdoll and tosses him on his back behind the bugbear and the smaller hobgoblin (barely missing Varak in the process). Finally, at the end of a fluid motion, he holds the glaive sideways with two hands and thrusts it forward as the lightning builds to a head: it explodes into a powerful clap of thunder. The three are blown to the back of the room; the smaller hobgoblin never moves again, the breath knocked completely out of his body. Gark laughs wildly again at his handiwork. "This time you'll stay down if you know what's good for you!" he taunts.

[sblock=ooc]move: move to Y40 (assuming I can go AC42 -> AB42 -> AA42 -> Z41 -> Y40)

free: Nature's Wrath -> mark all three creatures around me (B1, h1, bugbear)

standard: Thunder Ram Assault against B1: 21 vs. AC hits! for 12+2 (forgot to add) = 14 damage; slide B1 to W40 and he falls prone
2ndary attack: burst 3 vs. bugbear, B1, and h1:
- 24 vs. Fort on bugbear
- 30 vs. Fort on B1
- 26 vs. Fort on h1
(assuming that hits all) for 6+2 (forgot to add) = 8 damage. h1 should be dead. B1 is slid back to the NW corner (column 37 - not sure the row since it is off the map) and prone; bugbear is slid back to the NE corner (column 42, same row) and prone.

Holy crap I love it when this guy hits!!![/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]By the way, assuming everything worked the way I said it did above, I'd suggest we leave the two guys up top - since they'll need to stand and then move to get to us - and just concentrate on the two guys below (and the last minion).[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc/Haltor]Haltor ended up in AD39? I'm about to do a blast that will hit that spot, but I'll assume you can use the slide from Varis to get out of the way.[/sblock]
"Sorry, you'll be going hungry tonight," Harressh says, laughing, as he slides over towards the wall at Varis' signal. "But you won't mind much, because you'll also be dead." Fire and light leaps from his scales, scorching the scimitar wielder and bowman up on the ledge, who falls screaming. The dragonborn opens his jaw wide and lets out a mighty roar, the force buffeting and bruising the scimitar wielder on the ground in front of him. Harressh twirls his staff and makes a cutting motion, stepping through an invisible door to reappear up on the ledge.

[sblock=Actions]
No action (Varis's turn): Slide to AC37
Start of Turn: Aura deals 4 fire and radiant damage to h2 and B2. h2 is killed.
Standard: Thundering Roar AB38:AD40. Thundering Roar vs. B2, B3 (1d20+8=27, 1d20+8=16, 2d6+11=20) vs. Fort, should definitely hit B2, probably not B3. 20 thunder damage and -2 penalty to attack rolls TENT Harressh.
