After a few moments of unconsciousness, Vok opens his eyes and spits out some blood that had pooled in his mouth. He sees the drow and hobgoblin talking amicably. "Hehe...I guess that means its over...did we win?" the half-elf asks, as he slowly picks himself back up, looking around for his weapon, and sheathing the blade.

Spend 4 surges to get to full. I believe actions points should be 1/2 for Vok as you mentioned we hit a milestone?

Ryk spends 2 surges (now 3/6); Spring spends both of his (now 0/2). This long day in the city is beginning to tire the dinosaur; Spring wants to eat a few chickens and lie down in the sun.

"You fought honorably. No hard feelings, I hope?," Crush says, with a nod of respect to the chainwielding hob.

[sblock=ooc]I'll be out of town Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Probably won't be able to post. Feel free to NPC Crush till Monday if necessary.[/sblock]

Rikka kept quiet for the time being- while she respected the hobgoblins for their close bond and camaraderie, she did feel the need to speak on the matter. With no injuries of her own to tend, she simply found a convenient perch and waited for the next battle to begin...

Oh, you won, scrawny. Its the dirgesinger—Moraa, apparently—who is wiping off some of the dried blood from her mouth. Your friends pack a punch. She caresses Vok's face a moment with a glimmer in her eye. And you can take a lot of punishment, can't you? The chainwielder—Hesh, or Shaarat, its unclear with goblin honorifics being what they are—laughs good naturedly before dragging the dirgesinger away.

While some of the Jorasco healers tend to the minor wounds of the party—humans working for the halflings, no scions here—the other battles continued. The Cyrans of Dannel's Sorrow, still steaming from their confrontation with the hobgoblins earlier, pushed hard against the Salt Town Five, the team that had the patron from the Tower's Shard. Their leader, the attractive woman with the prominent nose, coordinated the attacks with a will. Nothing could touch her due to her metal homunculus protector. One of her teammates, a Cannith magewright, almost disqualified the entire team when she near burnt one of their opponent's alive; a timely response by a scion of the House of Healing was required. The Cyrans won the match, but were not rewarded any points for so doing much to their very vocal consternation.

As before, the group is set to wait while the final task is prepared. A glance at the leaderboard made it clear: The Five Winds were in second, right behind the Horn's Apex.

OOC: The next bit is going to be a bit complicated, so it'll be a bit as I test some designs. Feel free to RP it up in the meantime.

"Oh I can take a lot more than you can imagine" Vok says slyly, with a wink at the hobgoblin, adding "Maybe next time you can be holding that chain" before she's dragged away.

"So, have you any idea what the next challenge will be? My knowledge of the history of this race is rather limited. I would be best in another battle, as you all saw the laughable attempts at my moving quietly." the half-elf says to his allies, taking a long draught from his waterskin, it was damn hot in this armor.

As she was dragged away by him, disintrested looking drow whispers "We can defeat teleporting fops together if there is a chance. Think on it. I'll have business proposal for your group later."

He comes to the group.
"I don't think there will be much in stealth anymore. Once they got into fighting, skulking around was over. What I'm hoping though is that we'll get to clean the area, house by house. There will be fighting, surprising enemies and avoiding ambushes via our senses. If there is such task, we have good chance at winning this! Otherwise, I'd like to fight those if the House Orien."
