[Adventure] Trouble in Moonwatch (Judge: THB) - Part II

[sblock=ooc]
Anyone got a suggestion for Val? Only at-wills. If Evo hasn't posted by after lunch my time (i.e. in about 1.5 hrs) I'd like to go with the round update [/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]I suggest enfeebling Strike on H2, and if he does survive, challenge him, if not, then he should challenge H1.[/SBLOCK]

"Ah. Much better. Now, where was I? Oh yes. Taking out the trash." Sheeva says conversationally, her bolt dropping her target.

Feall springs to his feet, keeping the man next to him in mind as he places a shroud on the patrolman moving away from him. He extends his falchion in a lunge that shouldn't by any stretch of the imagination reach his target, but just as he's fully extended a shadowy extension forms on the blade and lances into the bandit's side.

Shadows fade and loosen their hold on the diminutive wizard. Noticing his feet being released by the tendrils of darkness, Pok carefully steps out of the brush again.

Seeing the nearby tiefling choke Valahad, Pok whips together a quick illusion. Pointing his wand above the tiefling, sounds of breaking stone begin to pop and crack in the air, when the half-devil looks up, he sees the rock formation collapsing behind and on-top of him.

The only escape being the zone of deafening thunder, the tiefling flings himself out of the way of danger.

River stands up and pray Arawai to help Val on his next attack.

Valahad's blade slams into the swordsmen.

Enfeebling Strike (1d20+13=23, 1d8+9=15) hits b/c of River and regains 6 hp. Mark H2

The swordsmen flail uselessly at Valahad.

The archer's rain of bolts his Feall, leaving the drow dazed and confused.

The tiefling's necrotic energy affects Valahad and he is rooted in place.

Valahad's last strike leads them closer to victory, and the tieflings prayer saps his will to fight. The kalashtar waits until for another of River's prayer's to strengthen his will to fight and he strikes at the cultist again.

Delay until River is finished.

As the arrow strikes Feall his form wavers and becomes insubstantial. A moment later he winks from sight, only to reappear next to River.

[sblock=Actions]Shade Form (Immediate Interrupt, he takes only 8 Damage - I had him at 22 prior to this attack, so that should leave him at 14 - and is insubstantial).
ShadowStep to I12, Hide (1d20+14=26) from A1 (Shade Form allows him to use cover from allies to become/remain hidden).
Saving Throw vs. Dazed (1d20=18)[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Determined to get Feall out of the game, aren't you r1g :p?! I'd hate to see how he'd end up if the dice were with you . . .

This is what, the third time Feall's been bloodied, he's died once, and been dazed and/or knocked prone three or four times . . . He's been hit for almost his total frickin' HP just about every round! :.-(

All joking aside though, I don't think our current plan is gonna work (for Feall, at least). He's got no healing surges and no daily powers left, and an extended rest (assuming it does us any good) will give the cultists plenty of time to realize their patrol's gone missing.[/sblock]

River his already praying as Faell. He send a bolt of light over Valahad enemy hoping it guide his strike and heals his wounds. "Wait a moment, I'll heal you." he whispers to Faell.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Standard: Astral Seal vs Refl on H2 (1d20+12=18) If that hit, -2 def to H2 UEoNT and the next person to hit him is healed 6 hp.

I really hope 18 vs Refl is enough, as I well aware that the 23 of Val is not enough without my Astral Seal.[/SBLOCK]

Velmont hasn't been posting River's stat block, but River might still have Life Transference and/or Stream of Life still available.

If so, we might be able to sneak in disguised and find a place to hole up inside the area.

Yeah, you got crushed this encounter. Dazed (and to a lesser extend, Prone) is a killer for PCs (not so overwhelming for most NPCs who have few options, but a killer for many types of PCs) and required you to use Cloud of Darkness and Shade Form earlier on to avoid it. Sheeva even used an AP to just move while Dazed, otherwise, three of us would have been on the ground multiple times instead of just Feall and Val.
[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Life Transference on Faell next round. I have also 1 Healing Word left, probably for Val if he contnue to get hit like that. I've already used my Symbol daily power on Faell, Healer's mercy on Val and Faell and 1 Healing Word on Val.

Like what, r1 is not only bashing on Faell, but on Val too.

EDIT: River should have 2 THP to have hit with Astral Seal last round.[/SBLOCK]

Crouching as he quickly moves to get a better view of Valahad, Pok readies another mental onslaught.

Spewing forth from the kalashtar's armor, a vast array of poisonous stinging insects harass the foes. One of the attackers spots the illusion almost instantly, but the other causes himself a small amount of injury smacking himself in the face.

[sblock=OOC]

Move to D2

Standard Winged Horde, area burst 1 centered on F10, each enemy in burst.
23 vs will on H1 (If needed Pok will use Wand of Accuracy to insure this hits.)
12 vs will on H2
If hit the target will take 4 Psychic damage and cannot take opportunity actions until the end of Pok's next turn. Roll Lookup

Pok will use moonstride if an enemy moves adjacent, shifting away to C1.
